I'm. Same new to ice hockey these fights are unbelievable
@albertreynolds92877 ай бұрын
Why is this allowed
@kr4zyk0re4n7 ай бұрын
It's because the game is super physical. And tensions heat up because they have sticks and speed people get targeted and it eventually reaches a climax where people fight. After the fight it settles it. Fight always stops when guys fall to the ice.
@kr4zyk0re4n7 ай бұрын
Hockey physicality matters for protecting the puck and stealing the puck. And puck battles . People even deliberately body block slap shots. Sometimes guys fight to protect the team or team mates. Fights get banned hockey dies. I don't watch for fights could careless if no fights happen but they need to be allowed if the two consenting combatants vote it.
@Crazygamer_2575 ай бұрын
@albertreynolds9287 fighting in hockey is allowed to basically hold players accountable, increase viewership, and decrease tensions. It's entertaining, can shift momentum of a game, holds players accountable, and gives fans of all teams something to cheer about. While hockey as a hole is trying to limit the amount of fights they certainly still happen on occasion, back 10 - 15 years ago when I was a kid fighting was very constant in many hockey leagues. It has tamed down some but it's not gone. Yet...
