Used to cause a lot of the fights at family gatherings because some of my family are the most amazing people in the world. The others are evil snakes consumed by greed and unable to look within. Years down the road, my mom and sister as well as myself have become a tight circle and the rest of them have been written off. My grandpa was the cornerstone of our family and when he died all the snakes showed their scales. I don't say i told you so I'm just glad that they exposed themselves and we don't have to deal with those people anymore. You keep being the responsible outcast and stay true to your values.

Drugs, alcohol, depression etc...after a few years it dawned on me that I wasn't honoring him with the way I was living.... Just remember you honor his memory in all that you do.... Very good advice! Every single one of us has someone out there talking about us good or bad. It's how life is. The difference is when I was in my teens in the 80s, we made fun of each other in person and by doing so, we learned that it's no big deal. Everything today is done through a phone and we can't see each other's faces....and many aren't dealing well. It's sad! We can't make everyone happy. We can make ourselves happy though. :D Can't wait for your son to be born, Ryan! You'll be tired but watching your son grow up will be so soul enriching!!!! You're going to be an exceptional dad!

Preach Church 🙌💯 I got rid of all my social media it feels absolutely wonderful. I’ve never been better! Let’s be REAL Social media is more than just being social anymore or using it for communication. It’s made our society scared of confrontation, avoiding communication in real time. Face to face… Not to mention the unreal lack of care people have for what they post that’s highly inappropriate. ESP to children. In my generation we were not perfect, we made mistakes, had to learn to fall, and get back up; But it was the last of the good ole days; times were different then. Playing in creeks, getting dirty, doing wholesome things, back when a phone wasn’t the ONLY means of “keeping in touch “ Now the society we live in, people are completely unethical, and lack morals and respect for others. For me Getting rid of all my social media accounts has the been the best thing for me. It gives me time to work on myself, reflect on my life, spend time with my kids, and my family. After all that’s what matters to me. It’s definitely OK to ignore people if it’s about protecting your own PEACE then I say it’s a positive thing; 🙌💯
