Living in Indiana and going to that museum, I love that exhibit. It is truly so breath taking to walk through a replica of his room, and school. It really cool to see stuff that he would do. RIP

Shawn Decker, the keyboard was a gift from Elton John. The drums were a gift from John Mellencamp's drummer Kenny Aronoff. When you hear the Authority song played in the video presentation it is from that Aronoff. Possibly played at one time on those drums.

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is a pretty massive facility. A pretty cool place for families with young children. Some complain about the prices, but considering what they offer I think it is fair. It would be better if they do focus more on education than entertainment. Their corporate sponsors have a great influence on their programming. However, Ryan's room as part of the Power of Children Exhibit is pretty powerful. Particularly if you are familiar with his story. Sometimes kids from school trips race past it very quickly. Other times you see young people really drawn to the items and very attentive during the audio/video presentation.

Ryan was a normal kid, there was never anything wrong or terrible about him. If the hospital hadn't screwed up he'd still be alive. RIP Ryan White. You're with your friend Michael Jackson again.

I went there last month. This is a great exibit. The one thing i thought he was missing was video games. He had every other cool toy from the 80's. No Nintendo at the peak of NES fame. Interesting he had no time for games...

You got it all wrong. Not a gaming system. Ryan was a proper nerd. He had a Commodore 64. Look at the pictures from his room in the house in Kokomo. It's also in his book.

I went and see this today but I don't understand the caricature of super Ryan and the bird next to the Debbie Gibson poster, what does it mean? Who made it for him?
