@@iannisbet3882 i understand what you are saying regarding yang and palma etc and i 100% agree, and if we were all fit they wouldnt be anywhere near team. however i disagree with the "not elite coach" or not "top drawer" coaxh If you only look at what hes achieved with celtic it would go against the "not top drawer" coach never mind he Got swansea into the prem league, and finished 11th, won Fa cup with Leicester and had a few good seasons with liverpool. It's not whether or not hes a good coach, its whether the board is going to match his ambition or not. Also monetary considerations, 99% of the world would switch jobs for double or triple wages. It just hurts us more because we support the team, in reality its a business and a job.

@@iannisbet3882 100% mate, i get where the club are comming from tho with their reserved transfer strategy. Especially with automatic CL qualification being taken away. The club operates under the assumption that "well we may not get CL football some years so we have to keep money in the bank in case that happens" For me however, id just want them to spend the money and make sure not qualifying isnt an option 🤣🤣 i suppose as fans thats what we will always want. This year tho, we have spent serious money, already won a cup, top of league, through to next round of CL having only lost twice and never at home, so all in all, cant beat it mate!! With all that being said we defo need 1-2 more signings at least before the window closes

I said at the time, would that Carter-Vickers own goal end up costing Celtic. Well it did, 5 places and being seeded into the elimination round. Having said that, there's only varying degrees of difficult from here on. I'm more than happy with how Celtic have performed in this new format

The important thing is to keep hoovering up the CL money for years to come in order to strengthen evey aspect of the club. Any chance of winning the CL is perhaps beyond us and we might get the odd doing but likewise we will take a few scalps along the way. We'll need a strong pool of players to compete properly at Europen level. The domestic league might not be the most technical league but it is an energy sapping one due to weather conditions, amount of games, and the sheer physicality of the Scottish game itself. We need to be equipped to operate at both levels.🍀
