Sounds like me with the rain up in here in Wisconsin. I started replacing my brakes and calipers one day, outside the garage. I got front passenger done, drivers front pin was rusted in there and while I was trying to pull it out it started downpouring the whole time. Even after I drove for an hour to and from the store to buy a new pin and boot, still pouring. My stubbornness wasn’t going to leave it at that point so I got drenched but finished. The next day, as it was getting dark the previous day, I started the rear. Parking brakes gave me a hassle and a half on the driver side. Move to passenger, get everything uninstalled and it starts pouring again. Smh

Fix the polarity , meaning your positive and negative are backwards. So maybe from the 2 wires u ran for ur speaker wires a negative and positive is backwards . Either the the front or the back .

you need an amp for those 8 in speakers. The factory head unit won't push enough power to supply 4 8 in speakers on top of the door speakers and get the quality and loudness in sound you want.

The reason your 2 W3 10” may sound deeper than your buddies 12” is because for one JL series subs are great, also their boxes are probably tuned different, I have 1 JL W1 in my Chevy s10 that’s tuned to 60 hertz, barely get lower that my 2 kicked 10s did cause it’s timed so high

Box has a lot to do with it as well. Along with getting input from the door speakers. The factory radio, especially bose amplified systems, filter out so many frequencies on the low end, it'll never hit how it would if you used an aftermarket h/u with rca outputs with good eq settings

Base is Mono, Silly only plug one side. that is why it did not like it. 8 Chanel audio You go voice, right and left, then you got your Highs like in Tweeters. and your Lows as in the subs, you have your mids for the melody left and right. So what you doing wrong? well RCA always, Shielded signal is best. as well you are pulling all from one Chanel. so in a way you are pulling signal from the head units's amp unequal. so in time it will kill your head units amp due to heat excess. now you need a better unit. in my Silverado I got a 10 inch touch screen. Android auto. perfect. the mounts fit in the same factory mounts and the unit is outside of the plastic frame. but worth it.

The reson that those systems only shine on high bass is most evry prefab subwoofer box is tuned to 40 to 45hz wich is high you want a custom box tuned to 30 to 35hz so the subs can produce those low frequencys your missing out on the box is about 75% of what makes or breaks a subwoofer system

hey dude, love the channel, love the tahoe, not tryin to bash but i gotta speak up regarding that sub. it might seem to sound ok, but a few things: 1. the amp built into the sub box is actually a horrible decision, your literally rattling to death a fragile electronic component, a non main brand, cheaply made in china, poorly soldered internals amp that will more than likely break from this within 12 months tops. 2. High- Level Converter built into amps is convenient, yes. quality...no. Low level is what you want if your seeking high end audio, high fidelity, high quality sounds stick with the RCAs and a flat EQ to really read and deliver low level frequencies.. just think about it, your pulling low level frequencies, from speakers that are only sent high level frequencies?? doesnt make much sense does it lol 3. tubes are different, thats the sole reason they seem cool. ever wonder why many high end audio manufactures still make boxes after years and years and millions of dollars invested, and there isnt a subwoofer built into a tube anywhere, maybe theres a few from some small companies trying to be different.. my point is, subwoofers sound better, are more efficient, and just do better in boxes.. not tubes. keep the tubes for the ports. also slotted ports perform better. In todays market, audio equipment has come so far, most stuff can sound good. But my point in all this is simply to educate that, and I will be the first to admit, you probably know a lot more mechanical things on cars than me, but when I hear you tell your audience how good a tube subwoofer is because of the reasons you said, it was just incorrect. I hope this can be taken as constructive criticism, if nobody told you, you would never know.. love the style you put into these trucks man, keep up the awesome work. ANDD i just heard the part about you realizing the high level converter sucked 😂 🤣 SEE! i wasnt lying 😇✌🏽
