I’m an AA employee our “top tier” concierge key is by invite only so I’m pretty sure they can get into the lounges if they want. (My airport doesn’t have a lounge so I don’t know for sure but I’d be shocked if they do not get entry since they control the amount of invites in general)

Further to US Lounge access - Centurion lounges (in the US) charge a fee for guests however foreign issued Amex Plat. cards allow for a free guest - same reasoning, there are many more US-issued cards and many more US domestic travelers. As a Canadian traveling in the US frequently, still a nice perk.

Question about redeeming miles. Specifically with Aeroplan. I’ve heard from some people that it’s good for hotels. Others use pointe for upgrades, booking partner flights, etc. if you’re buying miles, what’s the best value for money?
@OnAirWithDanAndAlex8 ай бұрын
Definitely not hotels in this case - redeeming for flight is a better value!

Seemless experience at smaller international airports in the UK e.g. Humberside and Doncaster Sheffield (which will hopefully reopen)

Hub and spoke will still last if they can cater to more secondary cities. They're already doing this, opening niche routes.

Air India is really Air Delhi. Connecting between domestic & international at DEL is a more hassle than connecting in the Gulf.

So the CEOs are earning millions but they don't pay flight attendants until the doors close - something way wrong.

Guys really enjoy the show on a weekly basis. But leave the UK politics & Rwanda out of the conversation, we aren't here for that and this is meant to be some escapism from this madness!

As a FlyingBlue Gold member I’m very excited for SAS to join Skyteam. What do you think about potential moves by other Airlines. AF-KLM wants to buy TAP and I guess if that happens they’ll move into SkyTeam. Etihad has a lot of Codeshares with SkyTeam members so sooner or later they might join. I’m also hoping to see LATAM join SkyTeam as Delta owns a share in them and they have a Joint Venture together. Which other airlines do you see joining/switching alliances soon?

I don't think the Rwanda plan is ridiculous. What's ridiculous is to be in a situation where you have 30-40k people crossing the Channel on inflatable boats and entering the country illegally every year. It's a deterrent for future arrivals, so the number of people actually deported doesn't have to be high in itself. It's probably the best way (if not the only way) to deter illegal migration from countries that refuse to take their people back, or from countries where people can't be sent back for legal reasons. Even Labour is considering keeping this programme if Sunak finally makes it work.
