Felix is awfully casual about a leprechaun suddenly showing up
@UltimatePerfection5 жыл бұрын
Well, he seen more weird things. Aliens, time machines, not to mention his own magic bag of tricks. A leprechaun isn't a big stretch considering what's he's been through.

you don't see cartoons like that anymore, if I can turn back time just to watch these one more time. love it very much, thank you from Diana in Manhattan New York

The Felix the Cat cartoons were among the many cartoons that Paramount Studios produced for TV in the early 1960s. Jack Mercer,best known as the voice of Popeye,did all the voices.

Here's what kills me -- saw this on KZbin and I hadn't watched this series since I was a kid 60 years ago, and every episode I remember, even the dialogue and the inflections in Mercer's voice as he did each character. That is how much this cartoon was seared into my engrams. Frightening, to tell you the truth -- because "low-budget production" is being kind. This cartoon series SUCKED; but as a 4 y/o kid I wouldn't watch anything else. Felix the Cat was the shit.

Not Paramount. Joe Oriolo produced it using many Paramount and Terrytoons artists. Some of them also worked on Oriolo’s later Mighty Hercules series.

When did Felix become an investigator? (His career in law enforcement eludes me. I thought he was mostly a professional babysitter for Poindexter.)

thats sad nobody knows how and why Felix has a magic purse in the first place and honestly i was thinking that maybe Felix could have received his magic bag when it was bestowed upon him by a tribe of leprechauns

Rock Bottom is an asshole. Professor is a sociopath. Master Cylinder is the functional equivalent of RoboCop if he was a RoboCriminal. I identify with Poindexter (nerdy little shit). Vavoom is a good guy; doesn't say much, except when he does -- and then it's the functional equivalent of a megathrust earthquake. I never could figure out whether Gen. Clang was based off of a Soviet general or a Maoist general; but either way he was a prick. This cartoon scarred me for life.
