Apologies for the glitches during the first 90 seconds of the video, memory card must've had some issues, we'll get that sorted. Wanted to get this content out before the Olympics though so thank you for being patient with it! If you try out any of these stand variations, let me know in the comments!

I think the most amazing thing about throwers is their willingness to share their knowledge and grow the sport. As a high school throwing coach I see it every day. I have kids from other schools that come train with us and my kids go to other schools and train with them. And here we have you, the greatest thrower in the world, sharing your knowledge with the world. What you guys at the top of the game are doing for the sport is awesome and just know you have a legion of young fans here in Ohio cheering you on. Best of luck in Paris.

100% agree My partner and I have been in the sport for over 26 years, and I find no greater joy than sharing the love of the throws. Ryan and Joe are such amazing representations of the sport.

I would love to see a video where you break down proper spin technique from a technical perspective for coaches and elite throwers. You are obviously an outstanding technician, so we would love to hear your philosophies.

Kind of amazing that the greatest shot putter in history is also able to be the most accessible in terms of educating other throwers. I'm a geezer who competes in Masters events and everything in this video is useful to people like me. Now I gotta go back out and learn these positions and motions. Thanks you, Mr. Crouser.

Can’t wait to see your upcoming Olympic performance. I saw your Dad throw at the ‘84 Olympic trials in LA in person and Dean Crouser a few times at track camp at U of O in the eighties…very inspirational for a kid from Alaska. You are a class act and deserve every success you have earned….all the best and hoping for a new WR with the gold for you.

I want to set up a tarp catching thing like is used in this video for my nephew. Does anyone have any idea what materials go into the one in the video? I’m also curious if it could be used for a discus. I’m figuring that that would likely be safe, but I’m curious for opinions. THANKS!

Why the shot puter never use the orthodox technique (simple technique)? I see all the players use rotation technique. So, if an shot put player can use orthodox technique or he/she have to use the rotation method compulsory for better results?
