Special Thanks for Ctrl+G and custom properties. The best videos about procedural materials. It's really easy to learn by them.

Very nice, as always. A 'harder' version of the other soft leather. Love it. After playing with a couple, I think I prefer keeping the group input as one, personally, but I can always do that while you do yours either way, so I don't care how you do it in the tutorials. Can't wait for the other two as well. These are going to be great for the next set of weapons I make. Thanks again.

thanks for watching! yeah, either way works, you can duplicate the group input, or just use one and drag it around where you need. 👍‍

This is the first video I watched of yours and I immediately subscribed. This is such a useful tutorial, although I have to ask, is there a video on your channel that goes in to a deep dive and explains why each node is placed in its particular order? However, I imagine if I do enough of these, I'll start to intuitively understand that myself. Either way that's not a criticism, 10/10 material!

Hi Ryan, i am a supporter of you on CGT and i like your Work a lot. You are very appreciated! I got some video ideas, which could also be very interesting for others, as this is the first issues we all run after watching your videos. 1.) When you create a procedural material, how can you deform the mesh, with a modifier for instance, without the material design is getting destroyed? (When baking is no option and you want to keep the design structure but deform the mesh) 2.)Is there a way to paint with a procedural material on another procedural material, without using the vertex paint (as you need to subdivide a lot to see good results, but not all can/want to subdivide like crazy) Could texture paint be a alternative ? And if so, how? 3.) This would be my wish: Could you do procedural material, for plants and their leafs? This would be great to see. I think your procedural material series could skyrocket, as this is making so much, so easy. Thanks in advance and lookin forward for your other videos! Keep it up!

@@RyanKingArt maybe try moving the mic further away and adding a cover between the mic and you, it's not a huge deal though I usually just turn captions on if it gets unbearable. Yours are a 100x more manageable than most other videos!
