i just watched these tutorial series and i really understood so well for the first time how to use the geo-nodes. loved how you broke down everything and explained it so well especially how the join geometry works and the transform node if its plugged after it manipulates the whole "joined geometry". I have a lot to say but thanks so much bro for this wonderful tutorial

Your tutorial is great... but the way blender is set up really just frustrates me as things like this is why I never learned nodes before, why would they make it go left to right instead of more like a list. That is going to get so confusing of what goes where so fast. Nodes are just too messy and looks to make things so much more difficult for those who need a cleaner layerout to mentally visuallize what will happen. Top to bottom with arrows would have made so much more sense. I just get anxiety at looking at all of that knowing that I am going to have to to move my mouse back and forth on the screen to see it all....
@RyanKingArt9 ай бұрын
ahh, sorry your having trouble with it. If you keep on practicing I'm sure you will get the hang of it.

You just have to lie on your side and you will see the world like the rest of us. You may need to place a pillow between your knees for extra comfort. It also helps with snoring.
@Daelilian9 ай бұрын
@@squarerootof2 @squarerootof2 hahaha. Are you telling me to just be complacent and not see the obvious design flaw? When something is designed well and in a way to be easily visualized, that in turn would make designing more easily achievable and easy to follow. Trying to use an unorganized system that is all over the place makes it much harder when trying to design something. If we always stayed complacent we would never have innovation. It's not about my own comfort, it's about questioning why it would be designed in such a way that makes things so much more difficult. Thank you for the laugh though. Must admit it was funny to think of someone trying to use blender while laying down for comfort on a pillow. I guess you need as much comfort as do when using this program at times.
@squarerootof29 ай бұрын
@@Daelilian OK, I've got a better idea. Turn your monitor 90 degrees clockwise and everything will flow downwards. This trick doesn't help with snoring, though. 🤣😡
@Daelilian9 ай бұрын
@@squarerootof2 so that doesn't change anything.... I'm talking about how each individual node is connected and listed right to left in the program itself. I have two 32 inch monitors.... It's more about the layout and the way the program maps out nodes makes it harder to conceptualize for me. Also, do you have fun being a little troll and arguing with random people online?
