A few months ago I watched this video and got intimidated when I saw the verse, and now I can quite comfortably follow it. Ryan, your lessons work - it's so amazing that there's a laid-back dude across the ocean and he can teach me guitar!

I don’t know why I’ve tuned my guitar multiple times and my ear is telling me that during the main riff the d string note if it goes up a fret higher it sounds in tune with the record but on your guitar it sounds right too. Confuzzled

Incredible job as usual Ryan. Is there another chord, perhaps "Emajor" or "minor" after the Gb in the chorus? Or maybe just open low Eb string?

I don't know, and my brain cells have developed Frogs fatigue after listening to this song in slow motion for hours over a few days. I defer to you :)

@@RyanLendt listened to it a few times since and it's just the open Eb to go back to the verse riff! Anyway; it's an excellent/haunting song and I doff my cap to you for another super breakdown!

in all seriousness when I was digging the trench for turtletown 2.0 i painstakingly removed three dozen toads from the rocks in the trench so they wouldn't become a permanent fixture in the cement. Now there are zillions of teeny tiny toads hopping about and I bet they are the offspring of some of those. Also, did you know that the difference between frogs and toads doesn't exist scientifically - it's just a colloquialism that toads spend more time on land and frogs more near water.. they are all frogs technically. Also also I'm told having lots of toads attracts snakes. I have had two encounters with some pretty large rat snakes in the past week as I've been tidying up (re: hauling shit off to the dump) our surrounds. Rat snakes are the good snakes, yet to see any copperheads on our property. Our neighbors see them all the time on theirs but I think that's nature's retribution because they are the old fashioned type of people to kill every kind of animal that happens to be in their way. Luckily they are hundreds of yards from our house. That reminds me I keep meaning to put out a salt lick. This has been your daily thought stream.
