@@RyanMartinWeddings yes sir! How about synching tracks so they play the same part in multi mode Sometimes they aren't in synch when not using built in rhythm

Great walkthrough, I would suggest that you loop the drums frist as it will avoid the draging or rushing you get while trying to follow the guitar.

Great tutorial Ryan! i’m a bit new to looping - had an RC3 but this unit is on its way via fedex. i’m a little nervous as the 600 seems a bit intimidating - i do a lot of DAW multitracking so i thought i’d try this - the 600 looks a bit harder to use- anyway appreciate the time you spent on this!

Cheers Steve! The bad news is it’s certainly not something you get out of the box and take to a gig. You’ll definitely need to invest some hours into it but the customisation means you can set it up how you want to use it. Good luck with it!

You should definitely do a completely explanation of this this and basic examples. I just got one of these pedals, my first loop and I'm so lost. Haha.i can make a loop with one pedal but that's about it.

Hey Ryan can you show me an example of the auto harmony please - I was hoping you were going to do a little singing at the end to demonstrate also if you could possibly use the drum function and play a bit using fill to see how good the onboard rhythm/drum sounds compared to using a separate set up as you do. I'm trying to declutter so I am hoping this pedal can tick all the boxes. I'm planning to get one when stock arrives next month.

Hi Ryan (from the GC). Thanks for you video man. Great work. I’m using the RC600 for the first time. Can you kindly show me how to assign individual input fx PER PEDAL? I’d like to have reverb+delay for my acoustic guitar and separate reverb for my singing microphone please? You did show it on this video but I couldn’t see the RC600 screen properly it was blurry and you were going too fast for me 😃👍🏽 BTW, I loved that mute guitar assign you created. Clever Az. Thank you 😃

Yeah the screen is not as clear as I’d hoped, I’ll have to control the light a little better on my next video so there isn’t any glare on it. Yeah I’ve got some effects set up like this, I will do another video to demonstrate it 👍

Hi Ryan and thank you for your video! I just received my new RC-600. When I'm recording/playing, it works fine with the first track. But with the second and third track, when it's playing what I recorded, it makes a little pause right where the loop ends/starts. I didn't have this with the RC-300. Have you also noticed this? Hi Leeni, a little tricky to know exactly what’s going on without seeing a video. My email address is [e-mail] if you can send me a quick video demonstration the issue. I haven’t had that problem and it sounds like that would ruin a loop so it shouldn’t be doing that!!

Hello. I have a problem. I bought a new Boss RC 600 looper. On my computer I have songs made on my old Boss RC 50 looper. How do I make the RC 50 wav files work on the RC 600? Because so far the RC 600 looper shows the message FILE NOT SUPPORTED. And I have a lot of trouble, because there are 10 songs that are not easy. RC 600 wav file and RC 50 wav file. But in the RC 50 I mostly have MONO files, or is that a problem? And some settings need to be made .. tips. Please. I have a recital in a few days ..

awesome 👌 I'm wondering if you know how to set the looper in this way. I've tried heaps but can't quite get there. Bank 1 loop set to me dialing in a short locked in drum beat so I only need to play it short as poss. I then want to lock in a loop in bank 2 say for 12 bars. I want to add another part in bank 3 and for that to be locked in with bank 2 bars. I feel this free loop doesn't make the banks 2&3 tight enough. I want bank three to come in after recording at the same loop length as I've recorded in bank 2.

Ryan… great videos! Thank you so much! I just got the RC 600 and have two questions I was wondering if you could help with: 1. When I first turned on my unit, the fourth knob below the screen was master effects reverb, But when I turn it, it just changes from modes one, two, and three. I tried customizing all four knobs by moving the master reverb to the third knob and putting master compression to the fourth knob. When I did, I could control master compression from 0 to 100, but my master reverb on the third knob still just changed the modes. Ie…I can’t apply reverb to everything such as the rhythm sounds, like I used to on my boss RC 505. 2. Do you know if it’s possible for me to queue up the next track instead of it being instant? Ie, I know I can build a three-part song, for example, on tracks one, two, and three (where one is the verse, two is the chorus, and three is the Outro). But I want to queue up those tracks rather than hit them right on time (when the chorus should start). In other words, I put my verse on track one and set it to single mode instead of multi, and then I made my chorus on track two and also set it to single mode instead of multi. But while track one’s loop is playing, if I hit track two’s play button, I was hoping that it wouldn’t instantly switch from track one to track to right then but rather start playing track two after track one’s loop is done. But every time I click track two, it instantly switches in the middle of track one’s loop. Does that make sense? Thanks so much!

@@dancassidy7471 I got an answer from a few people online. The first issue is solved by updating the firmware. And the second issue… You click the Loop button, then Play, where you’ll see an option that lets you play loops after the current loop ends.

appreciate your content. I'm struggling with this and can't find away around it unfortunately. I'm in mode 1. I want bank 1 to be receiving my drums from an external source. I want to be able to play that at a short loop say of 4 beats. I want that to be the bpm of the track so I set that first and it saves me looping drums for say 4 x 4 beats. I then want to go in to bank 2 and set a loop length say of 12 bars. now this is where it gets tricky and can't figure it out. say I've recorded guitar rhythm in bank two and now want to add other parts like harmonies or bass parts on the guitar. I want to add that to bank 3. for some reason they won't quantize together and the loop seems off. I know there's a global quantize but is there a way to set it so that when I set drums for 4 bars that banks two and three can be played longer but be quantized together? you can do this on the rc300 just by putting bank 1 in free mode and other two banks in auto mode. I bought this pedals for sound quality improvements, more inputs and outputs but it doesn't seem to do the one thing I want it to. I'll have to take it back otherwise.

Yes you can. There os one shot options on each track if you dont want to repeat the loop.

@@charlesstitchwong3124 there is a worst inability in it for me which is not being able to assign a specific input fx bank for each track. So you cannot change to specific fx bank when changing a track in one footpress.

@@beenay18 oh no that doesn't sound good. i'm planning to record beatboxing live so thankfully i won't need to use their fx banks..hope you manage to find a workaround for your issue! :)
