100% guys, I have a James Baroud and it is the best investment for my Touring wagon, no way I could go back to a Swag up North, I’d feel like a mouldy kebab that a big dark Croc would gobble up quite easily. Great seeing you guys outside of fishing and having, sharing all your Travels & knowledge. It’s such an addictive place the Cape and anywhere in Northern Australia, makes you proud to be an Aussie living in our paradise!

Hi guys, great video thanks for posting. I’m looking at purchasing a Columbus. My concern is ventilation in the rain… Just wondering how you guys managed up in the tropics… sometimes I’ve needed to have all the windows open even though it’s raining. The Columbus doesn’t have awnings or flaps over the windows. Did you guys find ventilation a problem in the hot wet conditions? Thanks, Matt

I think the new ones do have little struts to hold the outer door flap ajar but when it rains we just close it up and never really had a problem. Sometimes we do take a small fan and run it off the fridge battery. But most times not really noticed a problem. Up here in winter when we do most of our camping it doesn’t generally rain much.

very cool review, what's the bottom of the tent like? is it flat? im thinking about cutting the roof off my van and adding a roof top camper on top for winter camping adding head space while living in the van and then sleeping up top

Not exactly sure mate I haven’t measured them And we are now away. Contact the suppliers and they will help with that.
