Life is what you make it. I worked long hours and was very dedicated to my job for 30 years, but I had a goal to retire comfortably at 50. I retired 2 years ago and I can't even describe how awesome life is now. Yes, the work and time spent was an effort, but to be able to live life without financial concerns is amazing. @@GirlGoneGlamping Don't worry there's nothing wrong with you talking fast, it's actually a compliment. It's a comparison to others talking and presenting their vehicles in a fast, incomprehensive manner or others talking so slow that I have to fast forward the video or close the video and go to another or some who are so boring that you feel pulling your hair but have to be patient to watch everything. Some would end their sentences with annoying giggles and some would start the sentence with high pitch and before the sentence ends the pitch dropped to the floor like the throat got sands in it. It is not good commenting even if it is true lest they will be offended. However, I am watching because I have to see what they've got and what they are proud of. @@gregoryadkins2213 She DID mention GLAMPING more than once BUT since she has been supporting herself for a decade, I don't see where the expense even matters. This is the life she wants to live. She's happy for the time being. What's the problem here? I say Good For Her. She's being responsible with the environment. She leaves a fraction of most people's footprint. The ONE thing that could be an improvement, nobody has made provision for: make that vehicle fully Electric. But we need Nation-Wide cooperation between states and companies in order to make a truck like that worth the hassle of the infrastructure requirements. So this lady is doing the best she can with what is available. I am sure that as soon as something better comes along, she will embrace it.

@@gregoryadkins2213 she works and owns her own business so why should expense be an issue its no different than paying rent in NYC or Chicago, where does it say that living a life of adventure means you have to do it on the cheap? I think after 4 years of living this life of adventure she knows what she wants and has the set up that works best for her.

Also wanted to tell you that was a nice job on your video tour of the 4x4 camper. I also dry camp some mostly at Glamis sand dunes with my dune buggy but also some beach camping when I surf. I am always looking for new or different ways to conserve or add on energy storage or better solar harvesting from my solar system You showed a DC powered air conditioner which could make sense for me (have the big 115v unit on the roof but try not to use it) . I also designed my own evaporative cooler system which works great in the dry heat of the desert and basically runs on 12v from the solar and batteries and water from the motorhome. It is portable and I mount it on the passenger door of my Class C motorhome. Anyway thanks for doing the video, well done! Jon

I like your focus on light weight vs wood, etc, (even though wood is pretty). Love that ceiling escape hatch in bed loft. I am a bit claustrophobic also. And I so agree on windows to view all directions for safety, and the flashing light system if you hear prowlers. Amen to the safety strips on the roof; I just got some for basement and outside steps. My one change would be making the entrance step easier. I recently got an unexpected leg injury so am suddenly more safety aware. I am very blessed to have help while healing, but prevention is better yet. I also like how you just dug in and learned what was needed. Very inspiring!
