After seeing several Videos from this KZbinr I get the same feeling. A good like to dislike ratio, some work in the videos but the content... Sometimes I was yelling in my head: "What?! I don't know any guy, that would/wouldn't like that except for the one from work who is boasting about how many women he is with and then asks his female colleague how to tell one of them off without looking bad." So yeah, I get the feeling that those are tips for women who want to find a guy just for fun. But I'm a little calmed down after reading the comments. Many make fun of these points or say they want to stay true to themselves, that's reassuring that most don't buy that it's about men in general, which it is not.

I have an answer for you that is just for you and many will not understand but I think you will.It's not for them, only you. You are at the top of the scale in attractiveness. Quite a few men without some maturity, will see this as a chance to disrespect a woman like you -a kinda like getcha' for what other women have done to 'me' ...and it's ego soothing to them. Displaced revenge. If you want to see this played out in an extreme manner, post a picture on a dating site and watch some swarm to insult you without knowing a thing about you. (as in, first contact is "wanna xxxx? ") In real life they could never get close enough to you to say those words even in a public setting. Sorry. Been there. Unprovoked. I tell myself the truth about it ,whether others might think it's presumptuous or not. NO HATERS PLEASE. WE GET ENOUGH OF THAT. move along.

My biggest pet peeve is when a man texts me asking me if I have plans that night or what I have planned for the weekend… And then never just asked me to hang out! And with some of these guys I would ask them why they didn’t ask me to hang out they didn’t tell me that they were going to but that I sounded busy. So then I’ve let a few of them know that had they just asked me directly I would’ve been more than happy to work them into my schedule to meet up with them for coffee or get some lunch because even though I keep myself busy I can make time for the right people.
@lanamiccoli70564 жыл бұрын
I’m guilty of sending and of receiving texts like these, I know the desperation of needing someone’s attention. What I’ve taught myself to do (instead of texting impulsively) is write a memo, or send myself an email, expressing what I want to say. Reading it again later really makes the words sink in!!

The modern day dating sucks. Everywhere you hear is what you should or should not do, what to say or not to say, for what? to make sure not to scare off the guy, not turn them off, to keep them interested, to let them miss you, to make them chase you......It is easy to get lost and feel exhausting about all these.... But think it again, why should I care that much? I have more important things to do in life, no time to play around text, if a guy lacks of interests or response, I have no time for him. Ladies, have your own life and make yourself happy first, then you won't care that much about how he feels about you anymore.

I find myself just trying to start a conversation where we can get to know each other etc. when I ask how your day was, it’s cause I genuinely care and want to know. I don’t need every little detail. 🤷🏻♀️ And...people forget messages and therefore forget to respond all the time. Just cause they saw the text doesn’t mean they’ll respond.
@chloebell3335 жыл бұрын
you know - those texts are awful and I have never sent them - however...at what point are we as people not trying to pretend that we have these high octane awesome busy lives? I don't. I am a full time student...full time single mother...I stay in most nights and my nights out are rare AND most weekends I have my daughter. People ask me what I am doing and it is usually studying. So does that make me boring or lame AF - I hope not but being new to dating I also try to be real and not pretend to be something I am not.
@datingcoachryanpatrick5 жыл бұрын
Hey Chloe! It's not about having a "high octane" awesome busy life. Hopefully you have a life you feel is awesome by being a mother and a student. The point is to never make him the center of the universe; it sounds like that spot's already reserved for your child, which is great. Never clear your schedule to be totally available for a man in the beginning; we hate that. Does *not* make you boring or lame at all! Your life is already naturally set up for success in this "busy" sense with men, I'd say 😉
@tanyahouston56355 жыл бұрын
Perfectly okay to be busy doing whatever it is you want to do. I am busy. My choice and I am under no obligation to say what I am busy doing, could be reading, could be sorting pennies, doesn't matter. No explanation, no judgment. And if someone calls and asks what I am doing, I say talking to you.

It’s funny because the “never ending text” the man responds with one word answers and the next thing you mentioned the thing to not do is sending a one word text... why the double standard?
@datingcoachryanpatrick5 жыл бұрын
He's sending the one-word text to you because, in response, he was turned off by what you sent versus you (or him) *initiating* with a one-word text. Hope I cleared that up, May. No double standard. He's accountable just like you 🙂
@Gina-Montana5 жыл бұрын
Ryan Patrick now why would a woman INITIATE a one word text with something like idk, maybe, or whatever? These are words used in response texts. So no, you cleared nothing up here.
@datingcoachryanpatrick5 жыл бұрын
@@Gina-Montana You're right! I got the categories confused. I was thinking about the "pointless banter" text which just happened to have "hey" in there and would technically be a one-word initiating text. Don't send 'hey' lol. Guys shouldn't be sending these texts I described either and I know guys send these too. If you're turned off by what they sent, send them one word so they get the hint it probably wasn't a great text they just sent 😄

Guys are guilty for texts like these too . If 2 people love each other they except these silly flaws or if it really is an issue I'm sure sitting down and talking about it would resolve it .if you really end up losing someone over a stupid text message then that person isn't for you anyway go get someone better .
@datingcoachryanpatrick5 жыл бұрын
Yes, guys are guilty of these too. Let's be clear though; the texting I'm referring to is everything *before* you guys are both in a committed relationship and are in love; this is during that initial courtship when you're dating. They are simply texts that turn people off in the beginning. Once you both say "I love you," then feel free to fire off whatever you want 😉

In the 70's when I was dating and in high school, I got a lot of letters. The man I dated wrote me at night at night and gave it to me in the morning. He wrote me during the day and gave it to me on the bus home. He wrote me during the day sometimes and threw it at me as we passed during class changes. I still have a box full of these notes. We ended up married. No longer, but was not for normal reasons. I still read his notes, there were so sweet. When I cleaned out my mother's house I found a box of her love letters from my father during WW2. It let me see a totally unknown side of my very stern mother. It is a shame that generations coming now will never see these love notes. I miss the written notes.....text will never be the same.
