Girls , all of these are so unnecessary. I don’t ever show any interest IF he doesn’t show it first. I don’t text unless he text, I never suggest any plan unless he asks me out. I do this not only for the 1st date but for every single time . IF they show interest, then I show a little bit back. That’s about it. If he doesn’t text me well, I have at least one more guy to make plans with. Don’t ever put all your hopes on a single person. You’ll save yourself so much confusion . Let them approach you!

So your plan is to string people along? You put absolutely zero effort into dating someone and expect them to do all the work whilst you trade niceties for attention basically. If you just placidly responded to what I was saying, I always had to suggest dates, I always had to talk to you... I would either know you aren't interested and move on. OR just assume you are playing me for attention and move on. Im not stranger to effort and Im traditional in my values when it comes to courting/dating... If you put absolutely zero effort into our interactions I would just cut you off and move on because I know that even if we did get serious - I would never be able to trust you and would have to continuously feed you attention even whilst I was working long days. What you have just said is the exact problem that so many people have in modern dating... everybody is so desperate to "Not Invest in anyone" or "Have an Abundance Mentality" that all they do is mess people about along the way and then complain that they are single or can't find anyone that actually wants to date them seriously.

I never say I never put any effort. I said if someone shows interest on me I show it back. If they suggest the second date, I suggest a third, if they call me one day, I call another one, etc. I know I have to show interest at some point if I want the man to know their effort is not a waste lol. I’m saying I don’t go around searching attention when the person is not sending any hint they are interested. Many women go around asking how come men don’t court them enough but they are the ones always texting (even if the guy didn’t respond to their previous message for example) . Women have a broken heart over and over again because they just like to beg for attention from someone who is not just into them. That’s a reality. When someone is truly interested on you, you’ll know 🤷🏻‍♀️

I literally just got my heart broken by the man who I've had feelings for almost 2 years. He doesn't feel the same as I do. One of the worst parts is I really though there was a spark there in our interactions and I had a chance with him. When one realizes you have no control over how someone else will precieve, respond or react then you can; stop taking the other's power away to choose do so. When someone tries to control the other or to get the response you want from the other so you can avoid feeling bad or uncomfortable for rejecting someone, its manipulation. I mostly obseved men doing this type of communication I mentioned but im sure women probobly do it too. Men have been programed in many cultures to not express emotions, be tough, manly, dont cry so of course they would view expressing their emotions to anyone as negetive. The reality is men being programed to do this creates an imbalance within them, a supression of a whole part of the self that created a lot of toxic masculinity, patriarchy and this very thing of men not being honest, and fearful to be vernerable and open about their feelings. Most women of value, value and respect men who are not afraid to be uncomfortable and vernerable and express themselves honestly instead of playing games or being vague.

Very often the reason is because they may like you a little bit, but not enough to make you a priority. Most men are seeing multiple women, hence the reason they give you a little bit of attention, upon occasion. They are trying to keep their options open and just want you around to be on the back burner in case they don't have plans with the chicks they are hoping to get. If they aren't making you a priority, dump them. I have learned this the hard way.

The thing is would it have been great for both of you? Sometimes what people think would have been great for both parties isn't but they convince themselves that it is - the reality is you had an opportunity and were asking him to move his entire life halfway across the country to start all over again - thats a lot for a person. He was probably looking at it from the angle of; "I don't want to move across country and leave my entire life behind because I dont think this will be good for me, but I also dont want to tell you that and inadvertently force you to stay here because I know later down the line you probably will resent me for it and Ill be the dude that made you miss "The perfect opportunity"" and probably a little bit of "Well I dont want to move across the country and then resent her for having to leave everything I know behind". Unfortunately this is an all too common scenario and what you asked him to do was a lot for anyone to process... you expected him to just follow but the reality is for a lot of people, leaving what they know is absolutely terrifying.

Just because it isn't the kind of relationship you want doesn't mean it can't be a rewarding friendship if you just accept he's not into you like that and appreciate what you have together instead of what you don't have. Hey Ryan! Looks like Spain is amazing and I hope you and your wife are loving your trip! This video came out at a perfect time as yours so often do. Just this weekend, I had to put some distance between myself and a guy that I've been hanging out with as part of a social group of around 8-10 of us. In a group dynamic, things can be a lot tougher to read, and so I hung on for a lot longer than I should've making all kinds of excuses for why the object of my recent affection was so... "meh." I did the whole "he's shy, he's getting a feel for me a first, he doesn't know how to make a move" types of excuses. Then a couple days ago I finally snapped myself out of it. It finally dawned on me that, much like Ryan's examples, ALL of his verbal communication to me has been undeniable NEUTRAL. I say, "thanks for the fun day, I appreciate your great company!" he replies, "yeah, thanks too, I think the same!" but then... he leaves. Like Ryan said, words are just air. And if a guy's giving you no excitement, follow-up, no moves to make plans, don't waste another day of your precious time on him like I've been doing for weeks. ugh! Lol!

So back in the winter, I went on 5 dates with this guy, and then he rudely ghosted me. He text me and told me that he wasn't able to come into town. 4 months later I see on a mutual friend's IG ( I don't have IG) that he was in town in April and at a party. So basically the "Maybe next time" phrase. From a different guy I got the "I like you cause you have good vibes" which really meant, "I like you cause I think that you won't nag me and I can do whatever I want". He was wrong with that assumption.

It’s what he didn’t say. He didn’t say I will call you. I just knew at that point he didn’t want to see me again. I had a blast on the date, felt great vibes, tummy did flip flops at different times during the date. I did everything right, followed all the suggestions. I will never know the reason I didn’t hear from him again, I could have used some feedback but that’s now water under the bridge.

I know someone who really likes a guy to the point where she calls him her boyfriend however, from what I've noticed, he doesn't seem to feel the same way. He's even told her that he's not interested in getting the Covid vaccine and has told her that there was an exposure at his kid's school so he had to self-isolate. Yes I absolutely would and have. I've said, "I don't feel any chemistry" and "sorry, you're not my type". Depending on the situation I might say, "I'm just not feeling it" or "I don't see a future in this" "this is not working for me" or "we're not compatible." There's nothing impolite about being direct and it avoids giving people false hope, which is far more hurtful. Most people say they lie to avoid hurting people's feelings but that's not the real reason. The real reason is you all are afraid of confrontation. Unless the guy shows signs of being a rage-a-holic, I don't fear confrontation so I put them out of their misery instead of stringing them along. It's the kinder thing to do.

People like that will string you along like that for years even with no real commitment and then suddenly pick up and leave. If this has been going on for a long time, I would seriously think about telling him you still care about him but that you either need a real relationship or you want to see other people (and then do it). If it's just been a short time, I think you should just think of him as a friend and continue to date other men.
