How to build intimacy: building intimacy is sooo easy for me. 1. Act like you trust him implicitly 2. Ask deep questions 3. Repeat back to him what he says to you. For example; if he says "I'm stressed about work" say "it really seems like your job is really stressing you right now" just parrot. If he says "I get to see my kids this weekend" say "you are so excited to see your kids, you are such a good dad". 4. Cuddle with him, scratch his head, tickle his back, draw on his back with a marker (washable) write things that are cute, sexy, or funny. 5. Take a bath together 6.stare into his eyes 7. Let him lay on your chest 8. Be the big spoon when cuddling, no matter how big he is. 9. Ask about his biggest fear 10. Ask about his happiest childhood memory or his most memorable moment in his life....then truly listen...just listen, don't share similar stuff..its so hard to find a good listener. Also always let him think that you think he is better and has more potential than he really does. Tell him how he has made you a better person. Tell him what you admire about him. If things end and he ends it say this "I understand and I really wish you the best. You are a great guy so I really hope you find what you are looking for. I do appreciate everything you did for me. You really helped me to see my true potential. You have a rare quality...so thank you." He will come running back, I promise! I've used this so many times but I make it specific to that guy. If the guy was unavailable emotionally I tell him he helped me to become more independent. If the guy was supportive I tell him he helped me to become more resilient. If he was funny he helped me to be more carefree. If he was just sex he helped me to be more uninhibited. If he was bought me things and took me places he helped me to appreciate the finer things in life. Also if you let a guy think you trust him, he is less likely to break that trust. If you look at him sideways all the time, he will go sideways. If he is accused of a crime he didn't commit, he will go commit that crime. Tell him he is what you want him to be and he will rise to the challenge.

Everyone wants an independent strong woman, who can take care of herself. But I'll tell you one thing that independent and strong woman wants a guy who would love her any, vulnerable, sick or moody. This will make her even stronger. And if she is not currently strong the right guy will make her strong the wrong one will make her even weaker. Be careful girls don't get the wrong one.

I realized I want it to be like when we were talking again because I felt like he was chasing more and I was less stressed. This made me realize that I can be in a relationship without making him such a high percentage of my time, I need to invest a lot more time in what I’m into and I wanna say thanks for being so understanding of women and approaching ever point so respectfully!
@cocohitchman32095 жыл бұрын
Yes this works for the beginning! But routine will follow and you have to be mature and understand that’s how long term relationships go ! A lot of dating fails early because they don’t like getting bored or want new continuously ! We all have to grow up. A lot of people are not ready for real relationships and forever stuck wanting the honeymoon phase which is immature! it’s suppose 2b a short stage in courting to help fall in love & build/ secure a foundation for long term! If you pick the right partner it can feel like a on going honeymoon but a routine you enjoy bcoz u like them .
@natalielefebvre16283 жыл бұрын
Advice dont fall for a player . A player dont want to commit wt any one they all narcissists. I rather going out wt a nice guy. It truth nice guy are boring but i can always entertain him . A player they are not a man in my book , i call them a boy who live in a teenager body lol

Number 4 is what matters most. I've learned that no matter how much of a catch you think you are (giving him support, independent, sweet, great cook, lover etc) if don't truly believe in who you are, you will attract and ACCEPT the same from others. When we know our value, it shows up in how we treat ourselves and others will follow. Not everyone is going to be a match, nor should they be.

Hi Coach! There are some patriarchal phenomena in South Asia where most of the men do not want their lady do more success than him in her professional life. It creates a “vibe” in their heads that “she might be out of control of mine”. The more I show my independence, the more the chances will be deemer to get married.
@karikari73365 жыл бұрын
Um no. Marriage is boring and routine and if he can’t handle it when dating forget it. If you can’t be yourself and they can’t handle a little bring everyday life they have a personality disorder.
@datingcoachryanpatrick5 жыл бұрын
Good point, Carissa. Let me just clarify that I feel I was referring more to new relationships when I talk about slipping into a routine. Marriage (as well as having kids) will certainly warrant a routine, but it's most likely a routine you both welcome since you've agreed to get married. I'm 2 years into my own marriage and I totally agree with you. Just keep it fresh when you can 😉
@karikari73365 жыл бұрын
Ryan Patrick well I appreciate that. I just don’t want girls pretending to be someone they are not. It will only hurt them in the end. Be yourself. If you sit and read a book every night and hats boring still do that. If he doesn’t love that about you. Bye.

Note to whoever reads this: Instead of getting hang up on chasing after men chase after GOD. Follow HIM, pursue HIM with all your heart, mind and soul and men will chase after you. This goes for the men out there who are hang up chasing after women too. Just as the king's heart is in the hand of THE LORD Like the rivers of water; HE turns it wherever HE wishes (Proverbs 21:1), even so GOD holds the hearts of all men and women in HIS hands. "There is no wisdom or understanding Or counsel against THE LORD. Proverbs 21:30." *"Then HE said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Matthew 4:19*

I’m only 17 and I know that purposely making your boyfriend scared of loosing you is wrong! If the relationship you are in isn’t working for you anymore, even after trying, you need to get out of it! Because you are only hurting yourself and the one you love. And it’s just mean. Stay yourself and respect yourself.

Watch this part again. 5:05. We wouldn’t be watching this video if we weren’t scared of losing our BF. But he also has to be scared of losing you too. Men are all about the chase. Dumb I know.

The last man I dated turned out to be depressed all the time. And he stopped spending time with me and making the excuse that he needed to make his relationships with men better. Whenever he communicated with me he would say he was depressed and it just made me feel his negative emotions and brought me down. I’m a normally happy person, but he always brought me into a place of pain. As a friend, I told him he needed to get professional help, and that I was no longer interested in seeing him. This was not the kind of man I wanted to be with. I am happier as a single woman.

Thank you for this. I am in such a maddening situation right now, I don't even want to get into it because it will turn into a whole essay. He started pulling away at the beginning of the month. And I found myself whining about it and asking/begging him to just talk to me. Yikes, can't believe I did that. As of right now, I am putting the focus back on me. 🧘🏾♀️💃🏾

I know exactly what you're going through. It's really tough to stop thinking about someone that broke your heart. I was there 10 years ago and I still remember that pain. My best advice is that you need to double down on a passion to distract yourself. You're still very much in the healing process, so be aware and be 100% OK with that. When we really invest in passions and let them consume us, we heal ourselves faster. If you catch yourself saying "What if..." or "If I had just..." with your ex, I want you to politely stop yourself and say "Enough!" You catch yourself doing this frequently enough, you'll notice that you will gradually stop having these thoughts until one day you wake up and it's no longer about him, it's all about you. Believe me, time heals all wounds. And one day, when that time has had its chance to do what it needs to do, you'll meet someone that check all the right boxes 🙂

I have to disagree with the routine thing. It's been proven and practiced by so many successful people out there throughout time and history, how important it is to have a routine. Routine creates balance and priorities. It creates structure and consistency. This is how we maintain a growth mindset in all areas of life. If your partner doesn't appreciate your routine where you are being physically and mentally proactive(working out, being creative, reading a book, pursuing your daily passions), then this person probably doesn't value personal growth as much as you do. Being spontaneous all the time isn't sustainable, having a habitual routine is.

You are AWESOME! THANK YOU! GOT ALOT TO WORK ON, it's been a while since I have focused on myself which is probably why I have been single for the past 4... 5years. Makes perfect sense though, all stuff my ex of 8yrs use to tell me he was worried about. So greatly appreciate all the info and I will let you know WHAT happens!!!
