I just love Ellie. I love her tone. And I love how quiet and pure her voice sounds. I don't see her voice as "weak" like a lot of you do. I like that she has a different sound. She's not trying to be a Celine Dion or a Whitney Huston by trying to hit very loud, high notes. Everyone now a days expects a Whitney Huston voice out of everyone. But not everyone has that vocal capacity. Ellie doesn't, but she makes it work. And all of her fans love her voice just the way it is ❤

Like she said in another video, she uses a lot of control with her voice. She was blessed with such a unique, beautiful voice and I love how she back up and did the background "ooh oh oh oh oh" falsetto notes ❤️

You guys do realize that this is a live on a radio show, with super dry microphone that is made for dialogues, and simplified arrangement on piano, and with all the staff just sitting there staring at her.But still her pitches are on point, her emotion is sufficient and just the right amount, and that unique haunting tone. Imo, she's a truly talented and professional artist which we don't often see in today's music industry.
