The BEST and WORST DC LEGO Minifigures

I recently bought the LEGO 1966 Adam West Batman Batmobile set, and in my opinion, Batman looks great the way he is. It would've been cool if the minifigure had the same cowl that he wore in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham from the bonus level "Same Bat Time, Same Bat Channel", but other than that, he looks great!

For 2021, I disagree with the worst. The 60s Batman is incredible in person, an image can't do it justice. It feels right out of the show, and even has the zipper in the back. A lot of care went into it. I think the worst of 2021 was the non-movie penguin, as it is just the least good.

Ok in my opinion the original bane was a good adaptation of his first appearance in knightfall. In his first appearance bane wasn't this giant you'd see in later adaptations like Arkham asylum. He was a tall guy yes but not giant

That reverse flash section was more of a critique of the character's design rather than the minifigure. There was no other design they couldve used to make Eobard recognizable to the average buyer.

I think the best figure for 2012 was wonder woman. The figure had a new hairpiece, a new head, new torso and new dual molded legs with side printing. And a new gold lasso piece.

I'd definitely pick Wonder Woman for 2012. Just the legs alone was a huge leap forward in what could be done with printing. And dual-molding didn't exist yet, it was all done with prints.

The mr freeze face print point doesn’t really hold up cuz you ignored how there was at least 3 freezes, all with unique face prints between the most recent and first freeze. Granted I still don’t like the new freeze because like a bunch of recent reiteration of figures, they are trying to look like some very specific weird version of the character. Like why is mr freeze wearing a fricken cold suit tank-top? If you asked me either the juniors freeze or the 2013 ones are both solid options.

Dude they couldn’t make a bigfig back then, hulk was the only one who worked with superheroes and that was in 2012 the same year as bane. If you just judge bane because he isn’t a big fig thats unfair, he actually runs a lot of money because of his printing in 2007.

Harley for 2020 and not one of the figs from the Dc Minifigure series like Metamorpho or Cyborg. Heck I would say most of those figs from that series are better than that Harley figure.

2:32 ...There weren't any minifigures from 2009 or 2010 because that was the "dark age" period when the DC Super Heroes theme wasn't created yet and the original Lego Batman theme was just recently discontinued after the final 4 sets for it came out in 2008.

I actually really like the Mr. freeze figure, I mean I understand your criticisms he’s just a blue body I think it would’ve been better if we had some printing but I still really like his face print. And I would say Nightwing is the best figure of 2007 I just love his hair and he’s still my favorite Knightwing up-to-date, the Nightwings haven’t really improved that much.

Oh there's no way I know everything about LEGO haha! Plus, I'm pretty good at making myself look stupid. That hair piece, with that print work on it, was used only for two figures, both of which were Harley Quinn. Granted, like you said, the actual mold was pre-existing, but Bricklink defines the part as it's own piece, not a recolor of another part. So, I'd consider it custom as it was created exclusively (as of now) for Harley.

I would say figure out what you like most about LEGOs and start making videos about that. Is it minifigures? A certain theme? MOCs? Set reviews? Make videos about what you know and what you like. You'll find it the easiest way to start.

The best 2020 or 2021 (whatever) fig imo was the Batman that came in the accessory set. It’s a modernized Lego version of Batman’s classic grey and black suit he wears in nearly every damn comic and it looks like a modern 2006 Batman fig. It’s perfect and should have came in more sets

I count The Batman sets as 2022 releases so I’d say the worst of this year would be the Batman Minifigure, everyone agrees that there should’ve been a new cowl and overall they fail to differentiate him from other Batman Minifigs, which sucks since he’s my favorite iteration of the character in a film.

I have and always will respect your opinions, but the 2021 Adam west I think is better then the bat cave version, I am prepared to give my argument: 1: I think the light gray works better than the sand blue color. 2: I will always take a slightly pale batman then one who looks like he spends too much time at the beach despite living in big city. 3: despite not being duel molded legs the light grey held up really well on the navy blue. That’s my argument but again I respect your opinions and agree with most of them except that.

What I will say is that some of the Lego Batman Movie lego character models are the peaks of those lego designs of some of them. For example, I think the Bane, twoface, Scarecrow, Batgirl, and Killer Croc might be their peaks but thats not saying much for some because their other models looked kind of bad for todays standards but that IMO

So I kinda did something. I totally agree with the micheal Keaton batman it's a fantastic figure.. except for one. One. TINY LITTLE NITPICK. it's that where the bat symbol meets his body. You can't really see the full. Body like it needed a centimeter mode to make it 👌 perfect. That's when I found an old neck piece from a thing of arrows. And I cut a circle out to take off the arrows. And I swear to God it is exactly what it needed that little push. It makes him taller. And in my opinion more of a threat but yet again that's my opinion

I don’t think I’ve a “bad” minifig in my DC collection because I simply didn’t collect a lot of LEGO since building new sets in 2014. However, I’m glad that I still have the Heath Ledger Joker from the first Tumbler iteration, as well as two Michael Keaton Batman. Yes, I’ve the 1989 Batmobile and Batwing. The one thing that I don’t like about the Keaton Batman is that it is one of generic heads for Batman. They made the same mistake in 2021 for the remake of the Tumbler so 2014’s Batman Begins’ Batman is still pretty amazing on its own. I do appreciate the new Scarecrow minifig from 2021 since he is, much like Killer Croc, underused. Granted, I prefer Scarecrow over Joker.

The problem is 80% of lego DC is just Batman, wich is understandable, batman is their most popular character, same with lego marvel having a ton of spiderman sets, but its still possible too get sets centered around other characters like iron man or cap, or other MCU stuff. One DC set i wanna see is the hall of justice but at this point i doubt they'll make it

That new Heath Ledger joker from the big tumbler looks awesome and so does the Batman on that one. I think the best Batman was the one from the Arkham series that came with that horrendous tumbler edition, probably best DC figure of all time. The Jack Nicholson Joker is better than the Harley figure imo. All in all it’s a good list.

Ahhh I gotta disagree with your worst pick for 2008 Mr freeze was my favorite and most wanted of that wave and the hardest for me to get. All my friends wanted him too and his set was incredibly hard to find in my area. On top of that when the newer version of him came out I actually refused to upgrade for a while because of how much I liked the original and even to this day I still sometimes decide to display my original over the new one. He's simple but just iconic to me Also I didn't even know he had a 2019 release and omg that one is awful especially in comparison to his 2013 one
