Yeah makes sense! The tyre on the front looks narrow enough to disperse water anyway so I do see the logic.

The panigale as a 200 rear wheel and i doubt touring bikes have such a large rear tire so to get touring tires on the panigale you have to get a 190 and that makes the tire flatter and subsequently makes the bike harder to turn, so getting the super corsa's or a track focused tire is kinda the only option for the panigale if you want a 200 tire on a 200 rim >~< its super lame but, well as i've been saying a lot lately. "Because Ducati" hehe X3
