Now this was a good watch. Thanks Ryan! I have a couple things I've always wanted to see in Timesplitters and I wonder if you'd be able to do them and show them off. I've always wanted to see the 3 games in third person, and I've always wanted to see some levels noclipped out of to look at the environment and skybox more. One level in particular is Breaking and Entering. They made it look like there's a pretty cool city out there and I'd like to see what exactly they did for it. Regardless, looking forward to the next one mate! :)

I’ve done so noclip in Breaking and Entering before as I also really wanted to look around the city! I did a stream a long while ago going through TS2 in third person, the included Cheat Engine table can allow you into TS2 third person by modifying the game view if emulating on PCSX2 1.6.0. I should also have a similar file available for TS1 on my Discord. I best start getting around to TS:FP!

Great to see u back, i was wondering if ud know this as i cant find anything about it online: in Ts2 theres a banner above most menus. Usually its of cortez and hart posing, but after a certain amount of time playing the game two new banners appear - one of two monkeys and one of two timesplitters. I was wondering what “unlocks” this in the game? Is it playtime? Percentage completion? Story mode completion? Something else?

Fairly sure there was an R109 one as well, and that one of the banners was yellow. Felt like that one was a bit of a special occasion one, as a kid.

@@RyanUkAusi think i might have figured out one of them: as soon as i finished dam bursters in my all golds Xbone run i got the monkey banner. I would probably guess that the timesplitters come from finishing story mode and the monkeys come from finishing the monkey challenges and from that point it’s randomized?

This was just fascinating. I always wondered what was the difference between Most Frantic and Most Manic, for instance, but assumed the former probably just meant running around the most while the latter probably involved firing off weapons the most while you're at it. It's actually rather disappointing to learn there's apparently no difference whatsoever in the criteria the game applies to the pair of them, and likewise to a couple of other pairs of awards. I was certainly one of those who'd assumed Most Dishonourable meant shooting people in the back the most, so it feels odd to learn it's functionally identical to Most Sneaky. There appear to be a few that are rather unintuitive in that sense. I was very much one of those people who'd figured that the Where's the Health? and Where's the Armour? awards involved running fruitlessly over the empty spawn points where said pickups _should_ have been, not that they required picking up _none_ of the item in question and also an opponent qualifying for the inverse award (Hypochondriac or AC-10) at the same time. Similarly I'd have assumed Underequipped meant picking up the least by way of advanced weaponry, not simply being the same as Most Outgunned - which I figured specifically meant going into combat against enemies wielding much better weapons than yourself at that moment. Circling back to my first example, meanwhile, I think I was also puzzled over what the difference might be between Most Manic and Maniac - and it's fair to say I would never in a million years have worked out that the latter means 'pumping most shots into an already killed opponent'. Crikey!

I did this in 2009. Platinum TS2 player here. The hardest missions to do this, hands down, are Nice Threads and Sergio’s Last Stand Edit: This video is about the awards in TS2, I meant I played for all Trophies/Unlockables

wonder if some values are different in TSFP ? like most effective would be near impossible to get in an online match, but every single player would potentially qualify for pathetic shot, since you almost always have under 30% accuracy, unless maybe you only use shotguns.

As far as I’m aware (from a bit of research) the 50 awards here should translate over to TS:FP like for like. There’s an additional FP award for most damage dealt I believe though. I’ll likely look a bit more into TS:FP’s Unlucky to Lose and Marksmanship statistics soon!

@@LeFaucheur There are an additional set of "life stats" such as insomnia and golden oldies, some of them can appear in your arcade awards! These are earned by having to play multiple matches over time.

I was having conniptions about Survivor/Longest Innings. I just couldn't get them to unlock despite going whole matches without dying. So as it turns out for those two awards got HAVE to die at least once for them to actually trigger. At least in my experience. It's really stupid. And not like this in Future Perfect for the record.

​​@@RyanUkAus For the record I'm playing the modern PS store rerelease, so it might be exclusive to that? But I really can't say. All I know is I did like twenty matches where I went the whole match without dying and never got either one at all, but when I finally decided to mess around and ended the match by blowing myself and my last enemy up (I was playing elimination) with a remote mine I suddenly got both at once. So I did a little bit of experimenting afterwards using the rewind feature, and sure enough, when I ended the match without dying not once did I get either one, but when I ended it after dying at least once I would get one or the other nearly every time.
