I was glued to the match all Sunday and for me the finest point was when Rose's putt went in on the 17th. Full credit to the rest of the team though.

Poutler is incredible. Some sportsmen just have the minerals & Poutler has it in bucket loads. He just rises to the occasion.

I remember watching Poulter sink 16, 17... and then it was just as if 'he can't do it again, surely not...' BOOM! I screamed so loud I woke the people up next door who thought we were being robbed!

Remember thinking"this is not happening". This one still hurts. Poulter was an animal.

Loved every aspect of this event. The European team, once again, showed themselves to be classy and professional. The fact that Michael Jordan was heckling and bullying the Europeans at every chance he got, especially Ian Poulter, and they STILL came back and won? Just made it that much sweeter. Jordan may be the GOAT, but he is not a classy person. Period.

I’m not sure if you need to be a golfer to get the drama , but the big story was seve and olly , that’s where the emotion is , that’s what makes it truly special , a relationship between two friends , I don’t think anyone understands how olly must’ve felt , it was simply a beautiful testament, to those two , given by a focused team of supremely talented individuals, under the most extreme conditions.

They did not show Woods' match vs. Molinari which clinched the outright win for Europe.

I remember thinking that we had it on lock even on Sunday morning. Surely there was no way that they could beat the players we threw at them in the beginning. I remember as soon as we lost I went to the golf course and started practicing so that I could be ready to beat McIlroy one day. I was so pissed at us for losing that I was going to take matters into my own hands sometime in the next decade
