In regards to “Under Construction”, I was always under the impression that it’s the VR/AR system tampering with her perception of time, as we see in plenty of other stories. Because she can’t continue the experience if she’s dead, her last seconds of life stretch out into what feels like an eternity, so that she can continue the experience, basically.

For the record, being sore a day or 2 after is a good indicator you worked hard enough (well and of unfamiliarity at the start), so long as you take time to recover before hitting the same muscles hard again. For 'quicker' size/strength, go till right before failure, when you can't do another rep with proper form (all the way till failure yields more results, but also exponentially wrecks you more, meaning much more recovery time)

I used to run cross country when I was in high school. The day after that first practice each season where we’d run just 3 miles my legs were dead. I couldn’t walk every year and every year after freshman year I knew it would happen. That soreness from working out sucks but it’s also satisfying, it goes away if you keep at it. And a tip as someone who was where you are earlier this year; the super soreness goes away with more working out but in the meantime, eating more protein and sleeping more than you used to need helps a ton with managing the pai

YESSSSS FINALLY WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE WEIRD-ASS TFTP STORIES. thank you for mentioning animatronic apocalypse that story is so confusing lmao. I am begging you to spend one of your streams doing a tierlist of FNAF shorts in your opinion. Stuff I wanna say: 1.) The most solid theory I've ever seen on "Under Construction" (I saw it somewhere on KZbin? Will edit when I find it) was that the AR booth gave Maya rapid onset cancer, which was why nobody was supposed to use it. The blobs that she sees have the same descriptor as cancer cells, and ironically she was the only one who DIDNT get cancer in her fake!world. The suffocation at the end was still probably from the smoke, but damn. 2.) I'm pretty sure that Earl DIDN'T bring in the Spring Bonnie costume. He's surprised to see the second Springtrap suit when Luca attacks him, meaning he wasn't expecting one to be there. If he DID, he'd expect Luca to be dead, which would have closed down the area while his friends went to get the cops/ambulance. The new kids have the same costumes as Luca's friends, so the suits are all re-used, so it's likely that Earl simply saw the kids going in and grabbed the "actual" Spring Bonnie suit THEN so that he'd have access to the kid. I don't think he knew that the previous team had a different suit. Which... is even more confusing, because why would someone OFFSCREEN swap off a springlock for shits and giggles? Did Vanny do it solely to fuck with people? Maybe it got mixed up with a shipment to the museum area? 3.) Maybe Mr. Renner was an Eleanor Scrap Human? In which case, it's wild that her main targets are always insecure teenagers and then this one middle-aged principal man. 4.) Man, I have so many questions/theories about the shorts. WTF was happening at the end of "The New Kid"? Are "The Cliffs" and "The Mimic" so similar cause they have similar authors/themes or is there a reason they both star a single dad taking care of a toddler boy after his wife died in childbirth, giving that kid a toy to watch over him, and then beating the shit out of the toy when something happens to the kid? In "Find Player Two!", why did Aimee, who clearly talked to the police enough that they arrested the guy she saw at Freddy's, not tell the police to check the tunnels for Mary Jo? It's clear they weren't supposed to be there, but Aimee didn't know that and like the first thing police ask you is "where was the last place you saw this person?" What the hell was the end of "Tiger Rock" implying? Did "You're the Band"!Gabriel ever get his fucking spaghetti wheels? The questions are endless. 5.) In regards to last week's episode. Scraptrap is missing an entire fucking arm and the man in Room 1280 is not. lmao

It could be that if he MC is trapped in the VR world as well and the reason all the kids, Renner, and his body acts weird is that the simulation is malfunctioning and the MC’s subconscious is warning him by mentioning the “apocalypse” via other characters Edit #3: if Elanor represents Afton, then the Frailty MC could represent Vanessa or Gregory or Cassie symbolically

RE the Gregory/CC Cassie/Charlie comps I think in addition its like the classic George Lucas quote "its like poetry, it Rhymes". Beyond the fact that lots of amazing poetry doesnt rhyme, i think for a franchise to move on from one era to another: using similar dynamics with characters or familiar beats is really helpful to maintain a shared universe feel. The problem is Scott and FNAF Theorists have had too many characters literally be the same people over unrealistic scenarios before. So here using a rhyming method of story telling really comes with the baggage other franchises dont. Like most pokemon games have very similar elements like a professor or badges. But we dont wonder if Roark from Sinnoh is a reincarnated Brock. This isnt a perfect analogy because Legends Arceus (and probably Z-A lbh) might be literal reincarnations. (Legends Arceus is the world Cyrus creates in the timeline the PC fails to stop him in Platinum!!!!!) Oh wait what was I talking about?...

I have a hard time with the illusion disks using supersonic frequencies, as kids (and myself, but I'm odd in many ways) can hear higher frequency sounds when most adults can't. That's part of why the Mosquito Noise was developed, to chase young people away from places. I can still hear it at 43, and it *hurts.* I've nearly thrown up in a store before because one of the lights was broken and it was making a hideous noise that was making kids around me fussy. The adults were getting mad, and I was all "Dudes, can you not hear this noise??" The kids were all with me, and the adults were shocked. *noping fiercely at the being stuck and rock wall thing* Nope, nope, nope, nope, fork that, fork that right in the ear. Nope. Nope. No thank you sir and/or madam.

I could be wrong, but I think you should start with as low as possible weights. Like you can do 15kg? Do like 10s. Just until your body adjusts. Oh and people keep saying different things about how you warm up, which should also help.

Good video. I'm with you on "Under construction" being super instructive for how the series use of AR/VR. I just wish the books hadn't consistently used the two terms interchangably. I guess it might be a comment on how AR might as well be as immersive as VR, thereby leaving open the possibility that SB and Ruin could all take place in either. Also, can I say how crazy an opener that story was - what an insanely bizarre (even by Tales standards) and bleak story it was! I have a real soft spot for it. Your reaction to "Pressure" was the exact same as mine. The fact that Fazbear Entertainment is profiting off of Springtrap as a character is chilling. If the stories DO have any grain of truth to them (I believe in FrightsFiction as a cover up/smokescreen for real events personally), its doubly horrifying. Glorifying a child serial killer - how dystopian! I love it. And your "no ones been as blatantly getting away with something since OJ" so true! And it's just a cool story like you said. I didn't catch Earl switching the suits on my read, that makes a lot of sense actually. Your points about there being more than one springbonnie suit are also valid. I think this is a clue that they did have more than one suit, meaning Andrew, Cassidy, TNK Kelsey could all possess their own suits. This makes sense given there are potentially 20+ locations featured in the books (not accounting for duplicates). I agree that Burntrap isn't Luca though, it isnt very satisfying. Animatronic Apocalypse is crazy... Love the bettle eating, its so bizarre and sinister. Good to hear your takes. I agree, Renner seems to be an animatronic but I have no clue why. Why does Frailty exist? No friggin clue. To me, it was an only semi-successful like back to Frights but you might be right about it just being a reminder about remnant. Cleithrophobia is friggin horrible lmao.

That's something I'm thinking, too. He has the same outfit in the cardboard cutouts, but that could be for character recognition (Cassie's in the same outfit, too.) Also interestingly, Gregory specifically doesn't have his bandaids on in the cutout where he's with Cassie (they show his exact cheek/knee being blank), but does for the missing poster.

So I just want to bring this up. The ending to Pressure is the Fire Escape ending from Security Breach. Luca (the kid in the Springtrap costume) finds Earl in a Springtrap costume holding on to a child. Luca then strangles Earl as both Luca and Earl die and the kid is free. The Fire Escape ending is Vanny corners Gregory. Freddy comes up and sends Vanny and himself off the building. Then Gregory is free. Do you see the similarities.
