Wow, beautiful job! You're a great teacher; I like that you explain not only what you're doing as you paint, but more importantly, why you're doing it. Please continue to share your videos. I'd love to see you paint birds and/or animals. Thanks!

You are very talented Eric. Great portrait. Once i tried watercolors and it ended in disaster. I am afraid to touch them again.. lol. As an oil paint artist i always work from dark to light and i see most of the watercolors are done kinda light to dark which messes me up. All the best!

Thank you so much =) It definitely takes a bit time to get use to and plan for it when you paint. But once you get use to it it's not that difficult. I personally think watercolor portrait looks better when it's not as contrasty. Even the shadow area should be a lot lighter than you see. Good luck!

You are very good my friend...I've been watching all your videos..I just notice in some of your landscapes you use very little color. Do you think a vivid red/blue/ or yellow on an item on a painting adds a bit more interest to the painting.

Michael Crowe I have a different approach when it comes to landscape. But if you like more color with landscape you should do it :) as long as the depth and value still holds up well.

Thanks for this sir. But could you do a demo for dark skin? I'm a Nigerian and took up water color recently. Your videos on street scenes have been a big help. If I could have some advice on dark skin I would be grateful.

Really very nice! I've been asked to join a group that meets to sketch/paint a model ... I've never done that before. If you have any suggestions - or possibly even do a video on that subject I would appreciate it! Keep up the great work - I will be watching!

Paul Lekang hi! Thank you for your comment! I haven't don't much nude figure myself(I assume that's what the workshop is) but I'm definitely not a stranger to figure drawing. The first and most importantly thing is the proportion and gesture. Thanks for the suggestion though, I might do a video on figure painting in the future.

I don't think it's always nudes for model work. Clothing makes it more interesting in many ways- lots of shadows and stuff
