Our camera is on a metal mount mounted to the edge of our balcony. This placement works well for us, but when people are walking in the balcony it makes the camera shake. Is there some sort of stabilizer that could mount to the wall?

Me again! Great video. I was thinking of the same idea but with a pin at the base so we could pull out the pole when not in use and just place a chair over the plate. I'm not sure if that would take away from stability...was that something you had thought about? Thanks again!

I'm not sure that would be sturdy enough. If you are truly mobile then perhaps a normal tripod may be the best bet. Just not something I've had to mess with.

Hey Stuart. We use these amzn.to/3qzSUF0 You could also get gobos for an ellipsoidals light to achieve a similar effect.

Great idea! Considering doing this, any reason it wouldn’t be possible to just do a thicker steel plate instead of bolting it to the slab?

We're from totally different parts of the country, but where did you get your pole from? I'm having trouble sourcing the steel poles themselves. Thank you for this video btw!

You are welcome. We got ours from Quickservice Steel in Tulsa. There is for sure a shop like that somewhere near you.
