That’s crazy 😂 I’ve been doing this for years! I was looking up digital signage for a church and found the digital signage app that proclaim has, then I just created an account and started using it. The trivia is a nice touch too. blew my mind that it was free! I like running a ticker at the bottom with a logo, a bible QR code and the weather.

Thank you for this awesome tip! We've set it up in both our buildings and have been using it to really help our communication. One drawback we've found is the firetv going back to the home screen after a certain amount of time, which just happens to be during our third service. Does anyone know if there is a way to disable the FireTV from going back to the homescreen? Or to even just change the time? I can't find much help on that (even from the mostly-knowing google).

In this video, you shared how to get the software on the computer and stuff, but how do you get the Firesticks to receive from Proclaim? I've never used Firesticks before so maybe I sound naive lol. It's just like a roku etc. You download the app from proclaim onto the firestick via the app search. I believe you can see the app name in the video on my tv. I think you search faithlife maybe. Then the app gives you a code and in proclaim website you pair your screen with your account. If i remember correctly :)

Roku, works with Easy Show, but also Raspberry Pi's, Linux with QMPlay 2 looping Player, Kodi Media Center...as long as you convert/export the Digital signage as a Movie/Video File......OR export as a PDF and you can use Various PDF Presenters like Impressive! on Linux or Okular, or even as individual pictures and use a Nice Picture slideshow presenter like PhotQT on Linux, or Gwenview

Have you ever had a problem with a black screen appearing on some of the slide shows on digital signage. It’s almost like there is a blank/black slide that is set to show for like 12 seconds. Scripture and trivia are turned off. I can’t figure it out.

We currently use this for 2 TV's and $199 per year is a little out of budget when we had been using this for free.... Or is there a DS builder that faithlife has. Are you downloading a specific app on the fire stick or accessing it using the Amazon Silk internet browser? I just set this up at my church and accessed it using the Amazon silk internet browser. It works flawlessly but after about 15-20 mins, the browser goes to sleep. I’ve tried everything. Turning sleep timer off on TV, on the internet browser, turn off screensaver. No matter what I do, it keeps going black and I have to hit the remote again to wake it back up.

Not sure what to tell you. You don’t need to pay for it. Proclaim themselves told me that. Did you create your sign feeds during the trial? I have never had to pay a dime. Sorry you are having issues.

Are you saying that all the firestick remotes are unique and you have to have one for each stick? We only have one and didn't know that. However, our Samsung remote will control it. You have to really be pointing at the firestick for the Samsung remote to work, but it does. Little kids love to lose the firestick remote.

That's my experience with ours, I just labeled the remotes. If you HAVE the remote you can also use an app on your phone, but need the remote first to sync it I think.

Doesn't Firestick use SRT? If I had to guess, your problems with video probably have more to do with the machine that you are sending the video from than the Firestick. The secretary who has this running on her computer is going to need a fast machine, if she's going to send out multiple feeds to several locations. I would also think this would need its own network, so it doesn't interfere with more important stuff.
