because bungie is so eager to nerf titans that they pre-nerf bottom tree sunbreaker to do 30% of its damage just out of anticipation that an exotic would be too strong Then they nerfed the exotic. Let's not forget about behemoth, the worst stasis subclass by several miles. There are only a few kinds of titans now. Most are the below average ones that don't realize the shitshow they're stepping into, and the high above average ones that love titan and make full use of what little mobility and hit registration it has. Just as a note: you can fall from any height and the max it will do is break your shields. What happens when you die from falls is you bounce onto another piece of geometry mid fall which does the damage twice. In short if flat, you can land on it from space.

i like the ability to kinda change the map around you with stasis, i know a lot of people are expecting poison to be the next darkness subclass, but to be honest i doubt poisoning enemies will be half as unique as making stasis crystals

Salvation's Grip used to have a niche. It could be used in combination with thundercrash (and blade barrage/silence and squall) in order to clip through the door on Atraks-1 and damage the Fallen Captain that held his health bar. Then they moved the Captain to a floating box in the middle of nowhere.

Fun fact, while slavation's grip is by no means a viable weapon, you *can* use it to get to the final boss of the Garden of Salvation raid (with a fresh checkpoint) in like 15 minutes lol

I actually found I use for the salvations grip, in VOG you can use it to freeze the praetorian minotaurs and then freely push them off the edge of the map, I used to help help some people beat the gatekeeper part as it makes it so the relic can stay in one portal. I know this can be done on stasis warlock with an almost perma freeze however this can be done on all and if you mix it with a void hunter they can push it off and not be attacked by adds

Thanks for reminding me Salvation’s Grip exists. I think I’ll use it in my Winter’s Guile + Devour melee build to get some extra damage on miniboss enemies. Even with 700x melee damage, there’s some stuff you just can’t beat with a couple slaps.

I’ve seen all the comments about flat terrain but i’m not sure whether or not you did this but regardless it’s worth noting. Holding the jump button increases your jump height. A mind blowing fact for me a couple years back since this has somehow always existed.

in some of the sections where you ran out of salvations grip ammo, maybe you could use manticore instead of having to go to orbit? assuming there are enemies nearby that can be damaged to get anti-grav repulsers/keep you hovering. could also work if you ever decide to do lightfall without double jumping, since there are some areas with weird geometry like the outside section in the first mission that might mess with the stasis crystals from salvation’s grip, though i was testing without using glacial grenade to see if it’d be possible in lightless lightfall. nevertheless, i cannot believe you found a use for salvations grip!

I feel like titans would have had a much easier time with this challenge. Stuff like shoulder charges would have helped you cross certain gaps big time. Thundercrash would have also allowed you to cross huge distances both horizontally and vertically and casting ward of dawn in middair allows you to drop from any distance without taking any fall damage no matter what you land on

As far as I know you can't die from falling down any hight IF the ground is flat. As soon as there is as much as a pebble on the ground it will dig into your feet and kill you. But if you sweep the area clean beforehand you should be fine.
