😘👍💚 I bought this item and did not think about me having to assemble it. Yesterday, I was so frustrated trying to put it together. I walked away and left it sitting on garage floor. Today, I feel confident I can put it together!! 👏👏👏 Now, if I only knew how to use a table saw😂. Thank you for the tutorial!!

So .. I bought that one and used it for the first time 2 days ago. Making 2x2 spindles all the same length. About 20 minutes in I started smelling something. Shut it off, tried it again. Sparks flying inside the motor caught on fire. I shut it off and unplugged it the motor was still glowing. I blew it out like a candle and returned it. Bought the next model up for 70.00 more. They gave me 10.00 off because the packing tape was sloppy. Nice people. Took it straight to my shop, used it for a good hour. I'm glad I upgraded because it's a much nicer saw. I'm happy

Ryobi needs to offer a one+one table saw. I’d buy one in a heartbeat.

Thanks for the video bought the saw last night. New to table sawing your video helped with set up will not be using the flimsy guard.

I've just bought one, my guard is pretty solid and for the price is great.

WOOT! Always makes my day when I see a Solely Ryobi notification. Watching this as soon as I get home. Also what all social media’s are you on? I’m following you on Twitter and Facebook. Do you post pics to Instagram ever?

I just picked up the RTS23 which looks to be very similar, and I cannot get the blade guard lock to engage. I can't push it past halfway with any amount of force (being careful not to break anything). I really don't want to run it without the guard, but I may not have a choice.

just a little tip,from someone who didn't see it at first try, Put the shorter of the 2 on top to form the cradle where the saw will set. If you do not you will be fighting a losing battle and looking at plenty of videos. Other than that its spot on assembly.

Hey Logan I just bought mine today after weeks of contemplating which to buy from 300 down. Paid 150 for it with my Veterans discount at HD. Putting it to work tmw although It's off level by maybe 1/16ths due to the stand. Any tips?

Where is the blade wrench supposed to be? I can’t seem to know where it went.

Went to check out the price, through the link, and got a one+ floodlight with tripod?
@nonehandle6885 жыл бұрын
The blade guard is put on incorrectly. The black bar is supposed to be down between the two clear plastic pieces. However, I had a hard time figuring out how to get it in the right position. The manual is terrible and Ryobi's help line does not let you through.
@bkelevate5 жыл бұрын
So is the key just a safety thing for kids? You can put the key up so it can't be easily turned on? Also that blade guard does look awful. I wonder if there's an after market one that can be attached. For the price though still seems like a decent buy.
@SolelyRyobi5 жыл бұрын
The key is usually just a little piece that you can take out that keeps the saw from being able to turn on (typically yellow). The Ryobi Router Table we have has one. Strange that this table saw does not.
@bkelevate5 жыл бұрын
Ah ya that would be nice. Especially having kids. I have the ryobi self-propelled mower and it's got a key on it too which is nice. Thanks!

I personally have never seen anyone use a blade guard. Surprised it even has one. Most table saws don't have a blade guard that I have seen. Even in stores.
@MindBodyMuse5 жыл бұрын
I wish you could show us how one person can unfold and fold this table saw. It’s prob easier than it looks, but all vids lack this important feature. 😏
@Dave_Simmons4 жыл бұрын
You take the saw off of the stand and fold the stand. Store the bolts and nuts in the holes that you use to attach the stand, or in a zip-lock bag. Don't lose the bag.

You installed the guard completely wrong. This video should be deleted for safety reasons. The instructions have a picture of the guard installed this way with the words INCORRECT. Do not advise people to use or install a dangerous tool that you yourself are not capable of using. And this video is covered in ads!

Man come on the blade guard is not even well installed it has to be parallel to the actual table is not well assembled the right way i even wait to see the bloopers and even 5 hours latter you still were saying this is the stupidest thing ever, well i wonder way is not installed the correct way so it can function come on lol hope you haven’t rip a finger on the process off figuring it out lol

TJ'S WOODWORKING SHOP well that’s because he did not read the manual and has no idea how to install it, the blade guard is not correctly install the guard ass to be parallel to the table.
@michaeltaxiera53354 жыл бұрын
Yeah he didn't install it correctly. Also if you put the saw on it's back you can find a small bolt 10mm I think and you can tighten it down. It's opposite to the riving knife lock. The orange thing. I have a picture just can't post it here.
@alejandrolozano85735 жыл бұрын
You set up up the guard wrong, read the manual, the black part that clips on the riving knife is supposed to be parallel to the table

Alejandro Lozano jajaja finally some one figured that out i was looking at the video even waited to the boppers to give him a chance to admit his error bit even in the bloopers he was still complaining about the guard lol cheers
5 жыл бұрын
Yulesh Patel just unlock the knife and pull it up and then the blade has to go in the second slot of the knife and you all set
@sandyhearn83324 жыл бұрын
@ Thank you, I am going to try raising the knife, I only watched this video because I cant seem to get the guard locked in place or in the proper position. Without raising the knife, the blade will cut right into the top of the guard. And that guard does look flimsy. I just replaced my old 15 year old table saw, havent used the guard in years anyway. probably will be tossing this guard soon, first time it it gets into the blade and gets destroyed.

Do not touch ryobi if your in the UK. they wont cover your guarantee if your a tradesman as i have found out at my own cost.also dont use the new 5amp batteries on older ryobi tools as it will burn it out

Poor Ryobi instructions that obviously were not tested and reviewed. The printed instructions about blade guard assembly are incorrect. Home Depot Product Manager needs to do their job

Never seen so much bad advice and dangerous behavior in a single table saw video. Holy smokes...just awful. LEARN before you try to TEACH. This video is a showcase of "what not to do".
