Hey man, new sub here. Great stuff-just watched your 3 videos on this power washer as well as the Ryobi 18V 600 PSI and the 40V 1200 PSI power washers. I just had a quick question: can the UberFlex hose, wand adapter, MTM stubby gun, and McKillans’ quick connects all be used on the 1200 PSI power washer? Thanks and much appreciated for the thorough reviews!

I just ordered one from a seller on Amazon for $299.99, I will be really surprised and amazed if it really comes new with the batteries and charger. Or maybe I'll get a matching stove mitt like the one I got when I ordered my surround sound stereo system.

@@CarsWithKeav I really wanted to get the EGO with batteries but at $799 vs $299, if real, I could not pass it up. I just want a pressure washer to work out the back of my car without requiring a generator to run it. The EGO would be the best, at a cost. This will be my 1st RYOBI 40v product, but it looks like it will deliver all the PSI/GPM I need. I want to use a foam cannon to foam then rinse, then coat the car with DIY Rinse-Less Wash V2, contact wash with said rinse-less, then dry or let it air dry because I will be using RO water from the drinking water vending machine that has a TDS of 002, but reads 005 after adding the rinse-less wash. Should still be spot free.

@@DizConnected You really got it all figured out! In the end the Ryobi can do quite well and they all will get the job done. Just about everything I have is 40v Ryobi especially all my lawn equipment and since I switched to Electric 5 years ago I have not replaced one tool or had to work on them. My old Ryobi gas tools I had to rebuild carburetors and spend time tuning and getting them started in the spring. Only thing I have done is upgrade the batteries over time which probably cost me the same as the fuel would have been over all those years.

They kind of stopped making this one and replaced it with the 2k which based on what others have told me is the same thing just they used smaller nozzles to create the extra pressure. That’s the main reason I never reviewed it.

Have you tried attaching the chemical kit nozzles to this one to see if its any good for say rinseless? Which one do you recommend- this or the 600psi ezclean if purpose is only for car?

The chemical nozzles don’t attach to this unit as it doesn’t use the same connections as the 600 e clean. Different design and pump as well I would not send any harsh chemicals through this machine other than say Rinseless wash or a ph nuetral soap. If doing rinselss I think the 600 is the better deal and machine. They have a deal at Home Depot for $199 that basically has every accessory.

The new Ryobi cordless pressure washer features a brushless motor and is part of their “Whisper Series” of tools. It operates at 57 dB and is said to be “81% quieter than a gas pressure washer.” That is from their website. Based on power boost I think add 5 or 10 db.

I bought this unit today and have a few questions. Did yours come with a filter installed inside the water inlet? It states there should be one in the manual, but I don't see anything but an elongated white plastic rotating piece of some sort. Also, there was a white hard plastic washer looking piece in the bag with the accessories. Is that a gasket that's supposed to be inside the self priming adapter but dropped out? Finally... what degree of 2.5 orifice nozzle do you recommend for washing a dirtbike or mtb with this setup? Thanks for making the video!
@CarsWithKeav Жыл бұрын
There should be a filter that is connected to the hose so you can put it in bucket or pond. That is the only one I remember. The plastic washer is the gasket for the self priming adapter. I had the same problem seeing that washer then found out it was needed when the self primer adapter was leaking real bad. You still have to tighten the adapter down real good as well. If you have an Instagram or Facebook and need anymore help DM @carswithkeav on both. We can share pics there and much easier to communicate if you need more help.

I couldn't understand what are the differences between the new 2000PSI model and the 1500PSI? (Except for the PSI of course) Is the operating time of the device shorter or longer with the 6ah batteries?
@CarsWithKeav Жыл бұрын
The more AH you have the longer the operating time. The 2000 PSI I have not tried, but if it’s anything like their other devices a lot of time it’s just a different nozzle tip. Could be a different pump as well. I would think the 1500 would last longer on battery as the higher the pressure the more stress on the motor and would use more electricity.
@AdiMatzliah Жыл бұрын
@@CarsWithKeav Yeah, that totally makes sense, but on their website, they claim that the 1500 PSI model provides a runtime of up to 25 minutes, while the 2000 PSI model offers a runtime of up to 45 minutes (both with 2 6ah batteries). So, I'm wondering if that's true. 🤷♂

It’s a tough decision. The 2000 PsI one is $500 without a battery. Two 6AH batteries is going to run you $400. It says it lasts longer on batteries than the 1500 though. Problem is where are you going to need 2000PSI? At that point I think it would be better to have a gas pressure washer.

The only and the best review! Do you think it's the best battery powered pressure washer in the NA market? I can only find one or two more similar pressure washers that are not bare guns attached with batteries. This seems to be the only promising option. Im wondering if the foaming performance using this ryobi washer with default mjjc s3.0 is comparable to corded machines? I heard that the foam cannon should be adjusted if i use a less powerful washer. Is that the case here?
@CarsWithKeav Жыл бұрын
Thank You, Ego is coming out with one this spring that is supposed to be way better, but I have not reviewed it yet and it will be $800 I will try and get one when they come out. You can run a 1.1 orifice with a s3.0 and get great foam that is the same as the corded machines as it’s getting the same PSI and flow.
