Thanks Ned. I just picked up the $799 36v from Bunnings. Might have considered the self propelled version but I’ve seen it’s got that delay to engage the self propelled motor which was a turn off.

Hi, thanks for watching the video....there is a review on that 36v mower, check it out, i point out on some of the issues i had with height adjustment on it and how i solved it. Enjoy the mower its a powerhouse...

The delay takes about an hours use to not notice. You merely just start physically pushing it as you engage it and the first metre it will engage.

Hi i got the 18v, running on 2 6ah battery, cutting a bit of the thicker grass like buffalo and weed looking grass. It doesnt last more than 25mins or so.. dry condition and not too long as well

Hi, yer battery mowers are not best in buffalo grass, maybe 36v would have been better choice for you.

Great comparison video!

thanks for the comparison. You didnt say anything about run time though - how many square meters each of them were suitable for?

Hi, thanks fpr watching the video. Reason i dont mention runtimes is there is to many variables, battery size, condition of mower blades, thickness of grass, height of grass.....but i have about 260 m2 of lawn and 36v mower has no issues with it, 18v one gets trough it but 2 5ah batteries are on last legs....hope that helps

@@Nedstooltalk Great numbers for comparison! What size of battery are you using in the 36V? And approximately how much battery is left after one sweep of your lawn?
@Nedstooltalk6 ай бұрын
@@robinkarlsten4952 2 x 6ah batteries i use always. Depanding on condition of lawn ill end up with 1-2 bars of both batteries. You can run it on 4ah battries but it wont perform as good as it will with 6ah.

@@Nedstooltalk I'm looking at a kit with 2x6 Ah. Seems to be quite well suited for me then. I have about 750-800 m2. Thanks for the help, man!
