For an awesome cleaning solution, that I learned from a professional carpet company; Combining one cup, non-sudsing ammonia with one cup alcohol, and one cup white distilled vinegar into a 1 gallon jug of water. This is your cleaning solution. It works awesome on your rugs on your car. Upholstery, you name it. I’ve been using it for years why pay all that money and you can have it much cheaper and work just as well if not better.

No bull, real about the stains and stuff that happens with kids. And no shaming the kids for being kids. Much respect and love. You got a sub for life.

A good tip with these is to just spray on solution and then go over the area with a handbrush or a drill brush so it breaks up the stain better, than just run the spot cleaner with clean water and suck up the solution

I think that you need to spray, turn off the unit, scrub (I also think that the scrubber you used is more for collecting and easily removing pet hair, so I'd use the brush), then vacuum and repeat, to remove the marker stains. At least that's what works best with a large Bissel total carpet cleaner that I've used for years. You seemed to be sucking the cleaning solution out before you had much of a chance to scrub it into the stain. I could be wrong. I'm buyin' one of these myself, so I'll let ya know if my technique works with this smaller unit. As I continued watching the video I saw that you changed to the method that I just recommended, when you cleaned the cushion from your lawn furniture. And the crevice tool sort of forces you to use that method, since the sprayer and sucker are on opposite sides of the tool and can't be used simultaneously. BTW, in another video, I saw that the cleaning head snaps into the back side of the clamp that stores the crevice tool. Thanks for making the content. It encouraged me to buy the tool.

Thank you so very much for the video. I was on the fence about this purchase. I will definitely be getting it now. Hopefully there will be a Labor Day sale.

That's very much alike a Hoover one I had, didn't even last a year and went to the curb. I didn't like that it had no powered agitation and was the noisiest thing I ever owned. I now have the compact Bissell cordless spot cleaner with a powered rotary brush and accessories, it's way quieter, no hoses or bulky machine to move, just a handheld spot cleaner.

Markers are usually alcohol based. A bit of denatured alcohol will work

Can you vacuum the car with it? Or just for stains? Wet work

Actually, I have one more comment/question. Have you ever left this with cleaning solution in the reservoir while it is in "temporary" storage in your closet, or whatever, so it was ready to use on quick notice? Did it work out OK?

I always leave cleaner in it, but I use it almost everyday

That's good to know. It will make it handier to keep around. You ever use some other cleaner and what would you recommend? Did you ever get that marker out of the carpet? Also, ...not even a smiling emoji on the "pulling tool out" comment? LOL your wife isn't sittin' right there is she?@@livefreeandtoolon

Hi greetings from Germany. I have a Question. Do Americans always keep their Shoes on when they in the House?
@robertjoseph1592
@robertjoseph1592 Жыл бұрын
The short answer is no, there are some that wear shoes, some wear house slippers or "flip-flops" (American term for a type of sandal), and many that go barefoot or socks.

@@robertjoseph1592 OK thank you, i often see Americans on KZbin or TV that wear their Shoes in their Houses and it burns my german Soul 😂 good to know that's not really the Case. PS Flip Flops are a thing in Europe too.

I'm 68 years old and have always worn my shoes in the house. So has my wife and our children. We grew up in houses that were not "show houses", but actual homes, at a time when we, as kids, were constantly running in and out to play, get a drink of water, pee, grab a snack, get some water, pee, etc, etc. We had cheap linoleum flooring all through our houses as kids and a quick mopping was all it took to clean up any dirt we brought in. Never had carpet and the few friends that we had that did have carpet asked us to remove our shoes to keep them out of hot water with their Mom. So the accurate answer would be, in America, it probably depends on how you grew up, when you grew up, and how fussy you are about keeping a sterile house. We also have an entire population of young people, now, that will wear their bed slippers and pajamas to do their shopping, so go figure. Do Germans do that?

@@mrhalfstep No Nobody does that, when you leave the House wearing inappropiate clothing you get what you Americans call "the german Stare". Young People are accepted wearing Jogging pants in their free Time, but at mid twenties you dress up before you leave the House. But i have to admit that i'm from the more conservative South of Germany.

And, finally, at the end of the video you spoke of pulling the "tool" out. Depending on from where, when and how you are pulling it out, could have some bearing on your family's size. 😆You set yourself up for that with your opening remarks, so don't hate.✌
