I have one. Works well for me as a nice small bandsaw. I’m definitely not a professional. I think the biggest limitation would be the size of the wood one can cut on it.

What about the cut being off? Can it be adjusted to correct that?

I weep for the commenters who think this is a "great video". The narrator admits he is not knowledgeable or experienced with bandsaws, does not even take a peek at the instructions about proper assembly ans setup, does not check the blade guards, proceeds to make cuts with the table being reported out of whack, etc. I have this same saw, and set it up properly. The table is flat, level and stable, although it is not designed to hold a heavy workpiece. That "blade lock" with the wingnut is not there to lock the blade. It is the blade slot stabilizer/lock, which is there it prevent the table edges on either side of the slot from bending out of alignment with each other. Too many important aspects of the saw are not mentioned, or are spoken about but not shown, as the camera is fixed and set for a wide view.

Great video again as always. I do not own one but I’ve looked at it and watched KZbin videos going over it. I think for my needs it would do just fine. It would be nice to see changing the blades out in a video and also mitered cuts. But other than that you guys did a great review as always.

Great feedback! We actually have more footage but this one was getting long. Changing the blade is super easy. We will try and get a video made once this blade starts to wear out and needs replacing.

Solely Ryobi I don’t mind long videos from you guys! Best Ryobi reviewers on KZbin.

I'm not sure homie here realizes that when you tighten the table, it straightens it out 100%.. that's the point and reason they did this

There was that Little Window at the Side of the Top Door, to see the Tracking. I wouldn't want to have that Door Opened actually-Just in Case... Also instructions mention that the Teeth of the Blade need to be in the Center of the Tire-Not the Actual entire Blade. I Noticed they meant That, because the Back of it needs to set up Close-1/64 ths Gap only, against the Back Bearings for Stability under Pressure I assume. [Didn't see U Measure any Tolerances].

how wide of a blade will it accept? - can't find that info anywhere!

Are you guys doing the 12 days of Ryobi Christmas again this year? Probably a lot of work, but was nice getting videos back to back from you guys.

Possibly... if not 12 days of Christmas we will try and do something fun.

You forgot to level the table. There’s and adjustment bolt on the bottom.

WOW! this guy knows how to "open a box" and read the what's on the "box" for us. KZbin has contributed to the world the inane "Box Opening" Not review by someone with experience (over time) using the tool by the insipid act of "opening a box".

Thanks Nathan! Yes, drill press is on our list. 😁

Solely Ryobi awesome! I’m likely getting it in June. I’m planning on building something next year that will require a drill press going through some 4x4’s so would be great to see a review of it.

@@bkelevate hey Nathan, I picked up the drill press the other day and so far I love it. I use it with a fortsner bit when drilling holes in a flag union stars for .45 ACP casings and works awesome. Only down side is about 5 to 5 1/2 inches from drill bit to the stand where the motor sits. It's small, but perfect for my applications
@bkelevate4 жыл бұрын
@@ericfeldhausen7921 that's great to hear! I think the biggest stock I'd work with is 4x4 so that's fine for my needs. I don't need anything crazy big. I just want to make sure my holes are perfectly perpendicular when it matters.

I have the same saw. Any curved cutting at all stops the blade. Not a very good saw.
@youtuuba16 сағат бұрын
georgemckinney, I have the same saw, and your comment suggests that you have not properly set up your saw, and you certainly don't seem to be knowledgeable about bandsaws....as such you are not in a good position to be judging whether the saw is good or not.
