Just bought this exact one and I am very impressed so far. You don't buy an electric chainsaw like this to do massive jobs , but for a simple home owner chainsaw that can handle almost anything you throw at it , this thing kicks ass. Great review brother.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. I agree with you about the use it’s designed for. I use it way more than my 20” gas saw. So fast and easy! I have 3 chains for it now. Most efficient with a sharp chain.

So far so good. I use it often and have had no problems. I find the 14” chain dulls fairly quickly so I keep 3 sharp ones around for efficient cutting.

How much does the Ryobi weigh compared to the Husqvarna?

The Ryobi weighs 11.6 lbs (including the battery) whereas the Husqvarna (with a 20” bar) weighs 18.6 lbs. The lighter saw is much easier to handle especially for those who don’t feel comfortable running a gas powered unit.
