I found it very handy for attaching thin paneling to walls where 18 GA brads tend to pull through too easily. I use them around the edges where they are hidden by molding/trim and then using 18 GA brads in the middle where they are less visible then the staples. Ryobi makes some nice cordless nailers/staplers for general non-commercial use.

Thank you so much! Ryobi did not give as much information on operating it as you did.

Thanks for the good review sir! I have the Brad and larger nail guns in the air strike range and will definitely consider the staple gun when needed for my next project. Do you think you could use it with short staples for strengthening picture frame mitre joints? 👍😎🇦🇺

Hi John, You could use it for a picture frame. Its a narrow crown stapler though. You can get a broader crown one which may suit you better (r18st50-0). Moving the legs of the staple further from the edge of the wood at the joint, may reduce the likelihood of splitting. I haven't used one of these though, so I can't say if it is good or bad. It isn't an airstrike though, so I doubt it has the same driving power.

Can you explain why mine staples one time and stop next time . I have exactly same as yours. I used fully charged battery and staples were loaded. Is it due to air pressure? I am very beginner. I don't know how to fix this problem. You may be able to help me.

Hi Green. It is hard to say without seeing the unit. What size battery are you using? Is it fully charged? You could also check that the mouth where the staples come out is not bent or dented.

I wish you'd told us how you were adjusting pressure instead of just blowing right past and going about your business

@@DarrensWorkshop Apologies for my lack of specificity. I meant demonstrating for us us with depth adjustments with different depths.
