I always just automatically replace all fuel and impulse lines and purge bulb at the same time. Also the fuel filter if necessary. Seems to make more sense, kind of like doing both sides of brake shoes or shocks.

Hi great video mate I am currently changing my fuel lines on the very same blower can you tell me what size fuel line please?

I wish I could but the fact is that we charge the same price for all fuel line sizes so I never bother to look at sizes. I just grab what I need and go back and grab more if I guessed wrong.

I have the same machine with a similar carburetor. I cannot find any high or low adjustment screws. I have to keep priming it to keep it running. It also easily leaks gas out of the air filter when not running. Any suggestions.

@joelhusk4384 my suggestion is to find a replacement carburetor.

Would you please tell me where you got the carb rebuild kit? I'm working on my SIL Ryobi RY08576 blower that was given to him and I can't find any carbs or carb rebuild kits. Also, what would be the proper two stroke oil/gas mix ratio? Thank you!

As a repair shop we have multiple sources for parts. Our suppliers are all large distributors that don't deal with individual sales. As for the oil mix, can't help you with that one either. I put a quality synthetic 50:1 mix in this machine but that may not be what the manufacturer calls for.

Don’t know how I missed this one. Do you reinstall the carb protective caps?
@TheGreasyShopRag3 ай бұрын
Yes. After a repair like this I let the unit cool down then restart the next day If everything is fine then the caps go on and the customer is called.

@@TheGreasyShopRag thanks, I prefer to replace. Helps keep crud out for next time. Want to buy small qty of them. The fad for awhile was to heat an old screwdriver. I’ve had my tools for years.
