I’m not a mechanic so please forgive if this is a stupid question. I have a crack in my bellow that I noticed today so I will need to replace it. I repaired it with duct and electric tape until the new one arrives. It developed a crack again which seemed to be at the same time blower engine started to lose power. Could the cracked bellow have contributed to this?

I have the same exact blower, took everything apart. I mean everything. Still doesn’t start. We didn’t have starting fluid so we took the plug out poured some gas directly into the chamber put plug back in and it started. Then died. Did the same thing this time putting gas directly into carb and started and died. We took the carb off and pressed tte primer bulb and no gas was going out of the carb at all. It was supposedly a new carb and fuel lines from the guy we got it from. Is it possible it’s bad carb?

Grab your carb and wiggle it, if it is loose then the plastic piece that connects to the head is letting air in. Just worked on mine today and there is one screw that holds it in place. You have to take the carb off to get to it. You can see it at 4:54 on the top.
