Buddy, this is the best Ryobi video on You Tube, exactly what I was looking for. You are the man!

Good demo of the two reciprocating saws. Light or more heavy duty purposes. Though other You Tube sites do not hold it in high regards, it completes ALL my DIY projects. I'm overall more than satisfied with my Ryobi tools. Kudos for vid. Looking forward to ur next one.

You could not have done a better job comparing these saws. Friggin fantastic. Thanks for putting this content out there!

I love the fact that I never heard the motor on the little fella get weak no matter what you threw at it👊🏾

Thanks, It was a very good demo for me. I was wondering what was the main differences between compact and full sized one. Now I get it

Awesome video I’m looking the the brushless versions of both of these right now to trim branches and take care of roots when I’m digging for my sprinkler system

Home Depot has the compact one at about $100 and Amazon is offering the full sized one at about $90, with those extra $10 I'm also getting a Diablo 9 inch pruning blade. If I had the $200 to spend i'd probably get them both but for now I'll just get the big one. This video was very helpful, thanks!

Honestly, for those bigger limbs, a pruning chainsaw would be far more ideal. Something with a 6 or 8 inch blade on it. Having said that, for smaller limbs, I'm really liking that compact model.

Since yesterday I am the proud owner of ryobi RRS 18 C(price: 158 Euros tool only).I have already cut two unnecessary heating pipes. I prefer it to be small and Compact. I am aware that the motor is small and cuts slower.When I cut with the angle grinder there are a lot of sparcs that can damage something around. Two handed saber saws(sawzalls) are large in size and heavy especially corded.

Good review bub! There is "some" difference, but the one handed convenience isnt far behind! Thanks

Generally for pruning I use the 8”ryobi pruning saw. But I’ll use the one handed on the small stuff or stripping branches and use the two hand for chopping limbs off, but again, the pruning chainsaw is my go-to for those types of chores

I didn't know there was much difference in cutting power between the two. I only bought the small one. I'll probably get the bigger one too cuz I love powa.....

Interesting. Great video. I wonder how that HP recip compares to my old brushed Ryobi recip. The old one just wasn’t very good IMO.

Is the big one the same brushless version that several other KZbinrs had smoking during testing? Did you ever experience that?

I have challenge finding replacement blades for the Ryobi full size reciprocating saw. The one I bought is brushless model and it came with one blade for cutting wood. I need advice on finding compatible blades to cut metal.

Hi boss, The old brushless version used to destroy it's light after a while do the new ones have that problem? Also do they haven the prongs/contacts for HP batteries? Sorry if it's to many questions ma Bruda.
@bread-gz3rl2 жыл бұрын
The one handed one doesn't but the full size does. The only tools that have the contacts are the full size HP tools. The compact series and OPE do not.
@Tom-x3m9g4 ай бұрын
It's gonna be dark out before you cut that !!! LMAO!

Without the two extra HP terminals inside the tool, the HP label on the tool is just a marketing ploy.
@bread-gz3rl2 жыл бұрын
HP just means it's brushless. The compact series and OPE don't have the contacts but they're still brushless when they say HP.
@VanquishAudio Жыл бұрын
Lol the Terminals are a ploy too. Tested and there’s no difference

Hate my full size it eats batteries like a semi eats diesel and it overheats and cuts off.
