I think you should attach the brush to the flexible hose.

I got this tool to clean patio furniture without having to lug out my AC power washer. The power seems great for small tasks. I enlarged the opening of a big laundry detergent bottle (maybe 2 gallons) and use that in place of the bottle. The bottle can be usable to clean off one piece of furniture at a lower power setting, but the two gallons tub works well for me. I thought of using the squeegee for cleaning ground mount solar panels, but not sure I want to use any pressure on that. The handheld extension seems like it might be the best for me. I was always using the extension wand, but you helped me to understand that it might be easier not to use it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on these tools.

I'm a master detailer 16 years of experience I will be using this tool with bottle adapter to spot clean truck frames It's a perfect option if I Only get one minute with a 2 litter jug of water that would work great when Preparing a frame for paint

How did you never try putting the brush on the extension hose?! And use the former with it?
@richardefriend Жыл бұрын
I've got all the accessories you showed other than the squeegee, because they have a limited life span if used a lot (or left out in the sun), and there are far better stand-alone squeegees out there. For windows, I'd use the sprayer with an appropriate nozzle attacked to the flexible wand (or wand and extension combo). I was surprised about how good the Foamer was--I've got a 'better' one for my larger pressure washer, but it's a pain to set it all up for just a single car wash, and it's not noticeably better than the one shown here. Its bottle usually holds enough for 2 large cars (with me transferring the excess to a separate, less leaky, container for storage), and I use a small funnel to pour into the container. What you failed to mention is using the brush with the wand, and that does make the brush a whole lot more useful.

The bottle adapter is great if you do offloading… Throw a couple of 2 L bottles with lids on them in your rig with this and then after smashing through some mud puddles … You can grab it out and clean your windshield and stuff off so you can see… Or even use it to spray out your radiator to get all the mud out to prevent overheating

One of the channels, the guy loved the bottle most of all. He wasn't always doing a full pressure wash. It was wash off a tool after doing gardening or wash off the door mat. He showed that it was just barely enough water for a doormat or for shoes. But he didn't have to get water because he hung his machine with water in the bottle.

I got my 40v and love it. I made mine into normal quick disconnect instead of that Ryobi one though. Will try that extension hose for sure! Thanks for the demonstration.

The 2L bottle attachment is perfect when using the misting kit to spray high concentrate solutions on. Covers an area quickly, so volume isn’t a problem.
@truesimplicity Жыл бұрын
The chemical sprayer kit is one you did not show... It is the kit you would use for a 2 liter bottle or with a gallon of Roundup weed killer or Ortho bug spray containers, utilizing the included large mouth container cap adapter for yard spraying. A suggestion... cutting the time to 10 Minutes or less in multiple videos for each accessory. Thanks as always for your content.

Thanks for the review! I wonder if there is a way to use the brush screw on quick-connect as an adapter for regular pressure washer tips?
@markwallace31812 жыл бұрын
Here is an idea, connect the brush to the 6 foot hose and then you can use it just like the squeegee. I am sure you would have come up with that sooner or later after trashing it here on the video…the extra quick connects are used on other equipment…the end going away from the machine can be attached to a number of non ryobi things as the other end is the same as a hose end….

Another channel said that there is an attachment to attach to gallon-sized bottles, like distilled water bottles. For when you are on the road, that seems like it would be fabulous.

You would use the 2 liter for chemical/cleaning/liquid waxing and misting and for other reasons on low. Super multipurpose product. Maybe you guys could make another video for other purposes for it. Thanks.

@kimbiltz17962 жыл бұрын
You can use bottle wash to get rid of bird crap. No need to get the hose out and it will cut through it. Also some chemical or salt could be washed off your vehicles.

I love your videos and I Love Ryobi tools but I personally think you should use and understand the workings of these new attachments and tools before you try and demonstrate or review them for us,
@PghCrawfords2K5 ай бұрын
I hope you guys are well-compensated for this”how to” video on all the attachments cause Ryobi just throws all these attachments in the box w/ little to no explanations on best uses and connection options. When faced with small jobs like removing bird poop or bug splatter off my car, the increased portability provided by these attachments will make the difference between getting the job done vs. not pulling out my full-sized pressure washer due to inconvenience and time.

Try taking the wand off the power-head when you use the flexible wand. I also sometimes use the nozzles attached directly to the power-head. I bought the new kit which comes with two of those accessories (brush and wand) plus an extra wand and nozzles.

I have a lot of Ryobi tools and I love most of them. The biggest waste of money I have thrown away is when I get into their cleaning products. The hand held power washer is a waste of time - my contractors hose with a good nozzle blasts far harder than either one of them. And while I loved the power scrubber (not shown in today's video but I am sure you know what I mean) enough to buy a new one when the first one broke - there is a major design flaw in them where the triangle shape plastic lock tabs eventually wear down with use - when that happens the tool is useless. The small scrubber is just a pathetic little joke so even though I am a Ryobi fan - their cleaning stuff is lacking big time.

I bought one a few months ago and I was so thrilled with it because it was perfect for washing the winter salt of my car using a bucket of soapy water. But it broke (motor seized) after just three uses. It's too cheaply made. The motor whines for a minute before it managed to suck the water up the hose. I returned it and didn't dare try another one. Buyer beware! Epic Fail!
@mattattack426 Жыл бұрын
I had the same problem, but then I saw you have to screw the connection piece clockwise to tighten it. It will come loose & the machine is basically trying to suck water out of a broken straw.

Maybe you can add a solution in the 2L bottle, spray on low for low pressure soak. Come back & Power Rinse with regular water supply. (Ryobi's video showed using this set up to wash a dog) That Brush can connect to that Hose as demonstrated in Ryobi's Demo Vid!
