This is a brilliant idea, and currently seems to have the best customer reviews of any gutter cleaning system. The fact that it did anything at all to that fossilized gutter mess you had just proves it works!

Yea, it's just the initial clean that's rough, but if you keep up with it and just give your gutters a once over every few weeks, it's solid

One of those tools where you spend more time trying to get it working properly than it would take to just bust out the ladder and do it by hand.
@thehousemann10 ай бұрын
I do agree with this. I feel like this tool might be better suited for those with tall gutters that feel sketched out about getting onto a ladder.

I think you should use this on a regular basis instead of waiting until the gutter is packed with leaves and debris.

That's exactly what I said/concluded in the video. It's meant to be a maintance item.

Right I missed that part, I rewatched thanks!

Thank you very much for taking the time to do this video. Definitely a tool to skip. Having owned the EGO blower with the gutter cleaning kit for 2 years, I’ve had to blow worse gutters than what you had at the beginning of this video and the EGO had no issue blowing everything out. Ryobi would probably have been better off coming up with a gutter attachment for their 730CFM blower than this contraption

I wonder if that can be hacked to replace the head, past the bend, with the hedge trimmer attachment. I have 12' Yews that need to be topped annually.
@thehousemann2 ай бұрын
I like where your head is at. I just went to check. It looks feasible. There's a safety collar I managed to pop off but that's as far as I got. I'll have to go back later when I have some more time and see how the blower fan is attached, as it looks like I have to take apart the housing to access any kind of release. Let me get back to you and I'll see what I can find out.

@@thehousemann Oh, thanks! That's great. The hedger is only a 15" blade, but I wonder if two can be welded to double it. That all might be too much for the little 40250 motor.
@thehousemann2 ай бұрын
I think the biggest issue is going to be securing the two prices together since the power head is usually the one with a locking collar
@cameriqueTV2 ай бұрын
@@thehousemann Maybe some kind of a coupler sleeve over the shafts, welded to one of them. Then some reinforcement so the weight of the hedger wouldn't pull it apart. What drive mechanism bends through the elbow? A helical spring-metal material?
@thehousemann2 ай бұрын
@cameriqueTV haven't taken it past. But so far it seems to be the hex/spring type drive shaft

Does it clean out Birds nests?

Theoretically it could

@The House Mann Does this work with the gas powered motor? Possibly better??
@thehousemann7 ай бұрын
The blower can attach to any powerhead that will accept it. I think it would definitely work better on a gas power head, but again it has its limitations depending on how packed in the gutter is
@Willy_Mac917 ай бұрын
@@thehousemann thank you. I got off my ass and did it by hand 😂
@williamrodriguez2833 ай бұрын
It seems weak
@thehousemann3 ай бұрын
It's limited by the power of your power head
@shysti2c3 ай бұрын
I'd rather just use the blower attachment
@thehousemann3 ай бұрын
That's a great plan if you can reach. I think this is more so aimed at those with gutters on a higher floor.

It works fine if you respect it's limitations.
