good review and here's my take-away directed at Ryobi. Nix the 12vdc adaptor and the 3 year warranty and lower the price. another good point you made is, this isn't a designed as a work light. for the evolution, buy the appropriate product.

Why do you have echo added to your video?

I have a similar light by black and decker but it doesn't have that good of life. I may need to upgrade my system.

The 12v adaptor for carplug is most practical when shooting from a vehicle at night

It has a place, just wish the cord was longer, I thought it to be limiting.

There is a new version to this. Just bought it today. Rated for 3,000 lumens.

Thanks for the update! Little brighter and no more silly dual power option. Nice.

@@imaginariumpictures we were hit with a tornado here in Houston yesterday, and I had to use the flashlight later in the evening to assess damage in the dark. The 3000 lumen version is all I've ever known and it is magnificent. Truly incredible. The distance it can reach in the amount of brightness it provides is just, goodness! Was $59 without a battery.

@@Paul_Dalangpan Unfortunate to hear of the tornado, but a good application for the light. Wishing you and the community well during the clean up phase.

How much time lasts on battery?
@imaginariumpictures2 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the question. Unfortunately I don't have a specific answer for you. While I did not do a direct runtime test, one's experience will be influenced on how large of a battery is used and at what power setting. Thanks for watching.

How long will the light stays on until it overheats or starts dimming? Anyone put this to the test yet?
@imaginariumpictures3 жыл бұрын
Good question, I don't have a direct answer but to an extent heat concerns should be minimal with the use of the LEDs. Power use will be influenced on how big (amp hours) of battery is being used. Thanks for asking the question.

@@imaginariumpictures No problem. I bought one a few days ago. I like the flashlight very much. I just hope it’ll last for hours when left on. Thanks for replying.

@Yuri Ashol It’s good. I went through a few 18v-20v spotlight brands since my last comment here. Apparently, the Ryobi, Ridgid and Hart spotlights all have the same results. They do shuts off itself if they get too hot. It really varies. Sometimes they shuts off after 1 hour or so. Sometimes they stay on for many hours. Many times it will dimmed than shutting off itself. I noticed it runs longer in the winter because of the cold temperature.

12v is better as a house you can use any light why would you need portable. Boat or car camping there is 12v access for remote locations where 12v would be available not 120v.

Thanks for sharing. In any case, I expect the light's biggest application is for mobile purposes. I found the 12v cable that was provided to be too short for any application I would use the light for.
