Definitely considering this ryobi from Amazon, my current 2 stroke weed-eater is too loud plus too much vibration in the shaft, so that why I’d like to go electric vs gas, hopefully the ryobi electric weed-eater will get the job done terms of longevity. Tired of gas powered weed eaters. Especially Specially certain brands.

Can you help explain how the auto line feed works? I find it keeps advancing line when I don't want to and I finish a spool in less than 30 min of cutting and creating a lot of bits of string everywhere, not good for the environment.

I only tend to use it for a few minutes when trimming the edge of the lawn or cutting down weeds so I have never flattened the 2Ah battery I normally use with it.

Only had mine for a month and the long pole where it joins, the small pin which holds it together does not stay in and just pops out

Hello would this strummer be good to cut a small garden or is it just for edges and also could you buy the batterie charger separately.

It is designed for trimming the edges really. I use it to cut back overgrown patches of weeds as well but I don't think it's really suitable for a whole garden unless it's only a few square metres. You can buy batteries and chargers separately or you can buy a kit containing the strimmer, a battery and a charger. Check the amazon links in the video description.

How to replace line

Replace the whole spool, they are cheap. I've put an amazon link in the description. Remove the grey spool cover by pressing the grey tabs on the side walls. The new spool then just slots into place.
