I just use this to clean all the screens around my house this weekend and it worked great, I would suggest getting the blue scrubber brush since it’s softer but the yellow still works good. Going to try it in the shower when it needs a cleaning.

The one thing that makes this better than a drill brush is the fact that you can use 8 inch brushes with this. Drill brushes stop at about 5 inches. A drill might spin faster but has a smaller cleaning path. Which almost make them about equally useful. Some applications are better with slower RPM because you don't want to sling dirty chemicals everywhere. Im an auto detailer and I often have that problem using a drill brush when im scrubbing upholstery. Yes a drill is variable speed but sometimes its very easy to accidentally hit it too hard. Also some applications will get a tool exposed to lots of moisture. Such as wet hands, water spraying, ect. You can accidentally kill a drill by getting water in it. I wish I could say more about it but I haven't owned mine long enough to form other options. But yes, a drill brush is more straight to the point, but this cleans a larger area at a time and is resistant to moisture. I just wish this tool had different types of brushes like drills have.

That looks like a great tool for washing the rims on a car or scrubbing the sidewall down after spraying it with degreaser. Or cleaning up a bathtub. Seems like a nice little tool to have around for random cleaning.

Overheated and failed after 3 minutes of scrubbing. Returned to store and exchanged for another, it stopped and failed also after a few minutes. Retuned to store. Both failed.

I have the smaller one its kinda slow but it has alot of torque, you literally can't press hard enough to make it stop spinning.

its slow because you don't want it to heat up quickly or it will destroy the water tight seal

Seems like a solution in search of a problem. A drill brush is going to do 99% of what this does far more effectively (since the RPM looks incrediblely low) at a fraction of the price. The 1% of the time where you actually need to get this thing soaking wet for it to be effective, you would probably just be better served using a manual brush, since the RPM is so low.

Kinda weird it’s only waterproof up to 3ft. You’d think it would be the same as the pool vacuum which would’ve made it nice to scrub your pool plaster

You can use 5 amp. Bad advice. 220 rpm. Only water proof for 30 min. Not recommended to submerge. Water resistant. You should know ur stuff better!

The 18v? I have it, its ok... isnt very good at picking up fine stuff such as sand etc. The roller head attachment is kindve junk... it's mostly good for stuff like if your pools circulation puts the leaves in a small pile and you wanna just swim around and use it like a little dust buster. Its heavy on the end of a pool pole and awkward too.

even if it is "waterproof" i would be very scared putting a battery and tool under water. Waterproof ratings optimally should only be used in an emergercy such as the tool is dropped in water you dont want to trust the rating and purposely put the tool in the water.
