Thank for the tutorial! Just a quick tip for the circle in the beginning: draw a circle, hold your pen still and your lines will be smoothen automatically, click anywhere on page with your finger and procreate will give you a perfect circle.

Hey David - As long as you export your layers at 3000x3000 each, they will all line up perfectly. I try to avoid drawing in the corners so graphics don’t get cut off but social media profiles. Good luck with your launch!

I just bought an iPad Pro and procreate , trying to dive into the digital design world but coming off of a construction/military background. This video is probably the best one I’ve ran into with drawing NFTs but it’s definitely opened my eyes to the knowledge I lack in not only procreate but digitally designing art and the process of “generating” the designs . I got so many questions but I guess the most basic would be, if you were brand new to all of this what would you suggest to yourself in terms of where to start and what to look into? I’ve read a lot of different things and watched countless videos but find myself with more questions than I started with and some just feel like a waste of time. I’ve been thinking of using my GI bill to head to school for graphic design but I feel like there’s a lot more to understand than how to draw. I probably also just sound dumb as hell right now to everyone so basically what would you tell yourself if you were starting all over?

I would tell myself to stay patient and use every learning opportunity as a chance to grow an audience. Everyday in art and NFT’s, new things fall in front of you that you need to learn. You can either get overwhelmed by them or say “if I need to learn this, others will want to know how I learned it.” Then when you learn it, share it. It will build your audience and give you support as you learn in public. Then by the time you have a product or NFT, people are ready to invest in it because you have given so much. My opinion: learning in public online is greater than any art or design school. And I went to a very expensive one that did not prepare me for a career in art in any way. I met a lot of great people, but it wasn’t until I started sharing and giving that I saw any traction

Since the mouth overlaps with the original outline with different skins comes different colours I’m struggling to find a solution as my mouth part is brown but it wouldn’t match with a white skin how could I make the overlap mouth the same colour with different skins
