Have you seen the RMRK team`s project, such as KANARIA? There are NFT birds that can have other attached NFTs (for example - clothes, weapons, hats, glasses, etc). And these NFTs can be put on and taken off by a bird! They can also be sold separately!

I've watched a few videos about NFTs and I think this is one of the best. I'm a photographer and many people have asked me, "why don't you list some of your work on an NFT marketplace?" My issue with this is - an NFT marketplace is no different than a regular art marketplace (such as Fine Art America, Society6, etc.) And while there's nothing wrong with this business model, it just means that you need to create a lot of hype in order to get some traction on your artwork. With this in mind, your points about building a community are very important. Also, being a part of the ongoing NFT community is also very helpful. Am I ready to launch my own collection?? I don't think so. I consider my images are very 'niche' and they typically appeal to people who have visited (or who are originally from) my tiny Caribbean country. Plus, I am not yet active in any NFT community. So, thanks for the advice in this very transparent video. I will continue to explore NFTs as an option and will keep your tips in mind.

I've noticed how strong and supportive Caribbean communities are in the states -- I would think a Caribbean NFT community would have the potential to do well & have a diehard fanbase! I think you may have missed the most important suggestion/tip. You don't have to sell your NFT-s on Ethereum blockchain. Using Polygon the transaction fee can be a fraction of a dollar instead of hundreds of dollars!

i use metamask (browser extension) and it's pretty simple to work with it. if your transaction hangs for a few seconds, metamask will offer you to speed it up by enabling the speed up button. what it does in the background is it resubmits your transaction with higher gas. pretty simple stuff actually.

I had the same issue is gas prices so I switched to poly and I’ve had zero fees. I’d recommend switching your blockchain to poly. But you can only switch your blockchain when you post a nft. That being said you would need to take down all your previous post and repost them. Not sure if you want to do all that work but just letting you know. Great video 👍🏻

Great info, looking to promote my nephews art thru nft. He is autistic and has been drawing this specific caricatures from 6yrs old (he's now 12) how he can capture emotion thru a drawing is beautiful. The caricatures in itself is unique but interestingly alluring. Not only that but good projects also do different things. Dirty dogs minted on eth but did a “voucher” system during the mint. The voucher cost like 20 bucks in gas and then allowed you to use that voucher to mint anytime you wanted. Very good system.

That was a one-time initialization fee! I only had to pay gas to mint an NFT when I gave an NFT away. For the NFTs that were purchased by other people, I didn't have to pay gas :)

I was thinking of making custom items or accessories or just a real life version of the NFTs I put out and mailing those to their respective owners, but I’m not sure if that alone is enough of an incentive to convince people to buy them🤔 And just as a side note, you’re absolutely gorgeous, you have some stunning eyes too! Not trying to be creepy or anything, just speaking for a lot of people I’m sure

How to create a community when you're just starting ? Do we start creating as much collection as possible and post them at other NFT platforms (that does not require fee to post your NFT) first to build a portfolio and hence, a community (using all social media platforms) .. then switch to bigger platform ? Would you recommend that ? Thanks !
