@@RysFootyParadise it depends mate, the big games like our derby vs Dortmund will def be sold out, or Bayern. But if you make sure you book your ticket in time i think you're set. I know as I moved to the middle of the Netherlands 2 decades ago for my wife and kids, so I unfortunately cant visit every game anymore. But I make the 2,5 hour drive multiple times per year myself. So cool you loved our club brother! We have a very dedicated and extreme loyal fanbase. When you plan to go go to a game, hit me up! I wanna be in your vlog for sure then my man! Im 43 and have seen all our promotions, relegations, european football etc. Im a die hard lol💪🏽👍🏽😃

You should check out the Alfred-Kunze-Sportpark of Chemie Leipzig. A fan founded Club based of the old Chemie Leipzig, what was called Sachsen Leipzig bevor they got into bankrupcy. Chemie started in the lowest tier and now are in the 4th Division we're they play their arch rivals Lok Leipzig. The only two clubs that are important in Leipzig.

Also check the history of BSG Chemie Leipzig. GDR Politicians in high positions and a huge company (Kabelwerke) backed the team with money, privileges and so on. Almost no other amateur club in the 1960s had this kind of backup. In some sort, BSG and around 10 other clubs established professional football in the GDR. That is, bought or "delegated" the best players from amateur clubs to the few clubs with mighty political and financial backup. Hansa Rostock is also an artificial football club. Almost the entire team "Empor Lauter" was relocated *during a running football season* from Saxony to Rostock, just because some politicians wanted a club in the north of the GDR. Team and staff was lured to Rostock by giving them privileges, apartments, money, etc. That's why Hansa Rostock is also called "The Traitors of Empor Lauter". Today, Hansa Rostock is thinking they invented fair play in football.

Yep people hate RB but Bayern are still the most hated apart from the glory hunters who support them. Went to Leipzig with City - great ground combines a Modern Stadium with a bit of history - those steps are murder though !

The only reason Bayern get's disliked here in Germany is the same reason like ManUnited in England, Real Madrid in Spain or Juventus in Italy, success. And here in Germany people get very jealous very fast if you gain any form of success. Leipzig is hated by everyone cause they were founded simply as a pure marketing club for the Red Bull energy drink. And pre 2009 the Red Bull Company already had destroyed an austrian traditional club with Austria Salzburg.

my wife and I went there a few years ago (from thwe US) and most of the staff and people there in general were so rude and acted like they didn't speak any English whatsoever...
@RysFootyParadise3 ай бұрын
Strange 🤨 I do attempt a bit of German at first, but generally most will understand you’re an English speaking person and try to converse in communication. At other clubs, like Union Berlin they were incredibly friendly & welcoming
@Tazza813 ай бұрын
Well did you try speaking German? If not then don't complain about the Germans not speaking English. No disrespect but you sound like a typical Yank tourist who expects everywhere you go to cater for your needs

I am sorry that you had that experience, but I can‘t imagine that Germans act like they can‘t speak English. It is more common that we try everything and feel a little embarrassed if this doesn‘t work.
