Yeah I just found out. I'm still kinda new to the Yakuza series and have only completed Yakuza 0 so far. I'm going through Kiwami right now and plan on going through the rest of the games one at a time. I'm having a blast so far!

Twisted in Cognizance on a stream I think its the one where they announced the game the creator said he wasnt sure about making Ryu ga Gotoku Kiwami 2 but due to the sales of Yakuza 0 and pre orders from Yakuza Kiwami they ended up making it and the game is only called yakuza in the west.
