Do you now see why you need all the damage you can get? This is no joke. Also, man, I gotta say, A by SiM may have received a lot of backlash from the western fanbase, even I only liked the first ten seconds of it, but after seeing it here, I think it really fits in this fight, and it's starting to grow on me more. Since these gauntlet missions don't allow you to use healing items, I brought two resurrection stones with me which i'm using plus one bulletproof vest (which I didn't feel like it helped much), and I barely managed to survive. Cheesing this with the infinite weapons I have was always an option, but I decided to keep their use to a minimum and use more weapons in the environment itself to keep things interesting.

Fiercest Warrior is the Amon Brothers' theme. So many versions of it. But Yakuza 0's version is the best. Yakuza Ishin's was like true Japanese 19th century when the Meiji Period was starting. Yakuza 6's version of Fiercest Warrior was like Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Gosh, I didn't even think about the sacrificial stones. I had some during the whole game and they used up during the Sango Amon sub story (as I found it hard to avoid his rocket launcher). Anyway, are there only 2 sacrificial stones you can get in this game, or are there more? I am going to definitely need some for these battles.

Spooky Skelly, This mission is actually easy depending on how you do it. Just go extreme heat mode to deal with the thugs, use weapons on the Amons, don't bother attacking while their shield is up and the job is done. Now doing it without taking damage and using no weapons on the other hand... I guess it depends on what you're using. Some might say using the weapons in the game is cheesing them, I say the Amons deserve that with their magical powers in a realistic setting, attempting to cheat their way to best Kiryu.

I did it the hard way, spamming dragon sticks through first phase, recovering heat with war god Talisman, and I didnt have any ultimate moves yet. Then avoided damage like a madman running around and using all of my Arsenal variety heat actions one by one on the amons...

There are definitely more side activities in Kiwami 2. Six still has several side activities but not as much. In the end, only judge it for yourself after you personally play it, don't forget that, you may end up falling in love with it.

Thankfully resurrection stones are an option, and you can equip up to 3 of them at the same time, giving you 3 chances. Also don't forget, cheesing this fight as a very valid option, you can just take out that infinite light saber or the infinite handgun and win almost without any trouble (the Amons may still be tricky though, because no healing items and you only have 3 lives). This is why I think this video serves as a great answer for all the people who were saying you deal way too much damage in Kiwami 2, *that's because you need it.*

No offense, but I find that a dumb way to look at Kiryu's damage being high. The issue is you can easily overlevel by simply doing side stuff and not release how op you become, this makes fights unsatisfying for me in the story like the 1st ryuji fight can be harder since you don't have abilities or much damage compared to how you can beat him faster in the final fight if you leveled up and can't delevel. So not levelling damage makes normal enemies drag on for longer just so you can enjoy bosses for longer. You have people posting videos beating final amon in about a minute which is ridiculuos when compared to older fights. Not saying this mode is bad but it's pretty much like you said either you level to max or cheese it from all the stuff thrown at you at once. Honestly I'd be satisfied with an option to delevel your primary 4 stats or remove the damage stat so you don't have beat normal enemies for too long and bosses still last a while. My most favourite games were 3 and Kiwami because even if you level everything to max you can get fun boss fights, aside using dragon in kiwami where the tiger drop did huge damage. I just find it weird why they bother even locking Legend difficulty at this point when you can carry tons of healing and can do insane damage. All 4 difficulties should be from the start and make more of a difference than they do right now. I liked this series forever but how quickly fights can end in 6 and kiwami 2 make me a bit unsatisfied. So personally I don't think some side activity should impact the main story on the hardest difficulty just because you can't heal and they throw enemies at you. Just my opinion honestly, but I do hope future games have something like this where difficulty matters a lot, so you aren't forced to not level basically ignore a part of the game just so you can have a better time playing story, Yakuza 3 did this pretty well where replaying you could still have some decent fights at the start untill the stronger bosses appear, Mine was especially well done with his multiple styles and even if you were max level you couldn't instantly destroy him on ex-hard compared to now.

I mean that's why easier difficulties exist. If it's too repetive or hard you can scale down the difficulty. It just sucks that the hardest difficulty for story is pretty easy unless you force yourself to go out of your way to make it harder which is annoying, I'd like fights to take quite a bit on Legend so you can use heat actions and not see a boss lose 1 and a half health bar that should be for easier difficulties. I want to fight ryuji max level and have him put up a long good fight that way you're rewarded for levelling up and doing side activities, instead of oh you did all side activities? You're an invincible god now who nobody in the main story can touch

I'm exploiting Ultimate Heat mode's benefit of preventing death, that's all there is to it. It's *exactly* like the ability from Yakuza 3-5 that prevents death if you had heat.
