If there’s 2 things I’ve noticed in many levels, it’s speedrun levels and Zelda-focused levels. This update shows that Nintendo is paying attention to the community. We got both a Link powerup and a speed run mechanic added. Awesome. Can’t wait until they see other popular ideas that they might improve upon.

I noted the visual similarity as well, but it's definitely not the same thing. Mario Royale was a live competition, not a speedrun replay feature. There were also ways to kill each other in that game, something totally missing from speedrun replaying.

You know, I just realized. Back when Maker 2 first came out, I made one of my patented Castle of the Yosh levels. I wanted there to be a sort of pick your own adventure sort of thing, where you can choose either a green or red Yoshi, but I couldn't figure out a way to do it properly. Hm, I just had a neat idea. They could add Reward Items which give you like 5 lives if you gather 3, but the catch would be that you can only make one per level, this way in Challenge you could have a slightly more collective feel for the levels in that they'd all have a piece of what you want

You'll probably have a lot of people telling you this but you can charge with your sword using a certain move and you can also aim down with the bow (but you just cheesed most of it)

Sliding is faster on steep slopes but slower on shallow slopes. I’d guess that you have to toggle sliding to optimize that level.
