Awesome that you played my "challenge run" level Ryu! You used Yoshi the way I imagined you'd use it! Also those monty moles are there for the different music in each room. You can bind music to them, as long as they are on screen they will keep the music going indefinitely.

I kinda think that's because some of the levels are at such a speedy or fixed pace that you can't go slower than intended, so all runs through it will have similar times

Yeah used to like DGR. His no damage Odyssey attempts were really fun to watch. Personally find it boring these days when every single kaizo block is apparently hilarious though. All feels kinda forced. People like his stuff though, so good for him. Not easy to build a following.

The jingles, little catch phrases and yelling turn me off a bit. When he's not doing that I don't think it's forced, I just think he's that dorky. One thing I always enjoyed is that he does the channel family friendly, probably for more views, but there is some well placed innuendo here and there that I'm sure it's on purpose and it's kinda fun to spot. Also, his skill level has been improving a bit lately.

I've tried learning kaizo tricks. I dedicated 2 hours each day to learn for a week, but it felt like I lucked into shell jumps and P-switch jumps every time. I couldn't find anything that actually helped me learn (GPB's level helped some, but I didn't understand timing.) So I guess I'll just take a backseat and watch on KZbin like I did before. 😅
