I'd love that if Infinite had 99 lives, but with 30 lives, by the time you decide to skip, you've already lost too many lives, especially if you have limited skips, and they already cost you lives by avoiding checkpoints. In short, I don't think it would make much of a difference. It might be a fun experiment, but what he should really do is just make highscore runs with full skipping part of the lineup. I know it's not as creative as his usual stuff, but it would allow for more fully packed Mario content every other week or so.
